PHOENIX NO
I was going to make a set of the saga of Missile but I decided to just go with this one shot because PHOENIX WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
Every time I do, it makes me laugh.
Math may not be my strong suit, but I can at least find the middle of a lake - and Gumshoe, honey, that isn't it.
Looks like he taught Edgeworth all he knows about fashion, too.
Good old Larry.
Well, you could have mentioned that a little sooner! Like, what, three cases ago?!
I mean, it makes sense as a minor plot twist, and for character development reasons, but the way it's presented now compared to how Edgeworth was introduced in the beginning makes this seem like a sudden addition to the overarching story. Not that I don't like it; it's just a little... River-Song-esque, if you know what I mean.
So apparently the victim in this case is Severus Snape.
A small collection of Lotta's more colorful "country bumpkin" quotes, because who doesn't love dialogue tropes?
Boom mic + fancy camera rigged for sound-triggers = meteor showers?

Pick your poison:
Phoenix pockets a pair of poppers
Phoenix put a pair of pretty poppers in his pocket
Phoenix put a pretty pair of polka-dotted poppers in his pocket
"O numbly-toesied poets thy micturations are to me As chill winterosity on a bare leaf tree. Groop, I implore thee my turning poetgnomes. And truthciously spangle me with crinkly lawyerwords, Or I will blend thee a gobstopper with my truncheon, see if I don't."
...Are you feeling okay, Gumshoe?
Wow, Phoenix. Rude.
I can't even come up with a sassy retort but this is an awesome way to start a case: murder, Christmas, and one-liners about Christmas while committing murder. Perfect.
