In case spelling it out wasn't enough, here are flags. (at Port Huron, Michigan)
Whatever you say, Mr. Billboard!
Centre lining the Champs-Élysées (at Arc de Triomphe)
Handy to have, Pancake Bay's about where cell coverage stops. (at Agawa Crafts and the Canadian Carver)
You know you've gone far up Hwy 11 when... (at Shebandowan Lake)
Sign may be old but the message is as important as ever.
Would you like to see the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway signed in some way again? If so, please email me stating your support.
I am putting together a proposal to resurrect the signage, and having a gauge of public support would aid that process.
Please note that any names, emails, or personal identifiers will not be shared without permission.

Still there!
Counting down the distance to Manitoba on a lonesome bit of Hwy 17 between Petawawa and Mattawa.

Old Department of Transportation and Communications stamp on the service road bridge at Muskoka Falls.
The DTC stamps persist to this day, over four decades since the molds for these bridge railings were made.

Old and somewhat weather-beaten junction assembly in Belleville, including a defunct reference to the old Highway 2.

Highway 427, looking north from one of the hotel towers near Toronto's Pearson Airport. Visible in this photo are the Fasken Dr mini interchange, the sprawling Highway 409 interchange, and the new Union-Pearson Express rail line's sweeping structure.

Replacing the Coldwater River Bridge on Lower Big Chute Rd near Coldwater.
Lower Big Chute Rd was originally built as part of Hwy 400, which would have continued along this alignment up to the infamous Dead Man's Curve in Gravenhurst, from where it would have followed Highway 11. Instead, politics prevailed, and Hwy 400 ended up following the alignment of Highway 69 along Georgian Bay towards Sudbury.
