Getting to know you better

Last song: Phantasmagorical Philth by Oli Parker was my most recent listen, I think. Oli Parker (trumpeter) and Evan Jacobson (saxophonist) insert gorgeously jazzy riffs and solos into familiar songs... separately, alas, but maybe they'll collab one day. I've been listening to a lot of them recently. However, since I started writing this, my playlist shifted to Tempesta for 2 Pianos inspired by Coriolan, Op. 62 by Beethoven, played by Piano Novel and Florian Christi. My Bucky muse is very pleased by my jazz phase, but part of me will always wander back to soft piano and singer-songwriter acoustics.

Currently watching: I finished watching Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter last week and I know I've watched something else since but I can't remember what right now. I pretty much never start a series anymore unless it's finished so I just watch things in spurts and then move on.

Current obsession: Manhwa & webtoons for sure. It's been a great distraction lately.

Currently reading: I just finished Where The Dragon's Rain Falls last night, which was incredibly bittersweet, as well as Who Can Define Popularity? which I thought would be a laugh but ended up incredibly sentimental. I've got a couple of longer fics that I've been recced that I'll look at today but in the background, I'm also reading Puss in Suit, Pup in Tie for lighthearted shenanigans. Can't fully recommend that one yet, but it makes me snort in amusement from time to time.

Currently working on: I'd like to make a return to RPing properly so I've been veeeeery slowly working away at drafts and queueing them, but I haven't had much energy for personal projects recently.

Personal: Most things suck right now, from health (physical and mental) to employment, though I recognize the privileges I've got too. I'm very grateful to get to go visit @noirangetrois this weekend, as it'll be a much needed pick-me-up.

Last Google search query: I never search in my normal browser anymore (incognito always) so I can't be 100% sure that I haven't searched anything else up since, but I looked up the details of Dolos (personification of trickery/deception) from Greek Mythology for an RP interaction between my Hades muse and @maggicktouched's Beck.
