it is so important to me that in my personal storylines rusty is always in a life or death situation with the races. he wins, and he gets to be refurbished and gets a new lease on life; he loses, and he knows it's only a matter of time before he succumbs to the rust. cuz without a refurb, without a win, he knows he's not making it to next year's races. he's a ticking timebomb, and he's relying on the prize money to stop the countdown.
