Just lost my familiar and sweet angel kitty to cancer. Nothing hurts quite like this, you never know when your time together will run out. Goodnight to the brightest star in my sky.

I've been using these since forever and they work incredibly! Feel free to accommodate them to what resonates with you :)
I mostly say these phrases in my mind over and over again as I'm applying a certain product, you can say them out loud as well. Playing affirmations in the background can also work really well when you're putting that intention into your makeup! οΌΛΆβ²β‘β΅ΛΆοΌ
As you apply highlighter: "My essence shines through"
As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words are sweet. Everyone pays attention when I'm speaking"
As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words flow perfectly. Speaking my mind perfectly comes easy for me"
As you apply mascara: "These eyes see everyone's true essence. These eyes see through facades"
As you apply blush: "I am confident and assertive"
Remember to have fun with these! I mostly use these ones every time I'm putting on my makeup because they always work for me. However you can change them up to whatever intention you're setting for that day! Glamour magic helps me connect with my inner child and inner essence and I hope it has that effect on you as well ΛΛΚ(Β΄β‘`)ΙΛ Lmk how these go for you! β‘

Aphrodite: the meaning of beauty (ramble)
I hate when people reduce her to being "the hot one" of the gods, they make her seem as a vain blonde white girl, and she's so far from that.
People who think being beautiful is about apparence are shallow. Beauty is everywhere, in a child's laugh, in a family dinner or in a loved one's caresses. Aphrodite is there too, in a first kiss, in a hug between friends and the blossom of a flower.
Beauty and love aren't related cause only attractive people can love. But because everything that evokes the warmth of love is beautiful. And Aphrodite is the embodiment of all of that.
Worshipping goddess Aphrodite ππ―οΈ
Worshiping Aphrodite can involve offerings like flowers, incense, or sea shells. Consider engaging in activities that celebrate love, beauty, and harmony, such as creating art, practicing self-care, or fostering positive relationships. Additionally, learning about and incorporating Aphrodite's myths into your practices can deepen your connection with the deity.
Visiting natural places associated with love and beauty, like beaches or gardens, can be a way to honor Aphrodite. Offering prayers or dedicating time for meditation and reflection on love, compassion, and relationships is also meaningful. Some people choose to celebrate festivals dedicated to Aphrodite, like the Aphrodisia in ancient Greece. Tailor your worship based on personal preferences and cultural interpretations of Aphrodite's attributes.
Explore rituals such as lighting candles in her honor, using colors associated with love and beauty (like pink or red), or incorporating gemstones like rose quartz into your practices. Reading and reciting poetry or hymns dedicated to Aphrodite can be a poetic way to express devotion. Engage in acts of kindness and generosity as an embodiment of her values, and remember that genuine love and respect in your relationships are fundamental to honoring Aphrodite.

My favorite simple wards to guard the home
Hanging rosemary above the doorstep, and/or above doors of the house for protection.
Sprinkling a line of dried red pepper on a windowsill, to counter a curse.
Placing a mix of dried & ground eggshells and black pepper in every corner of a room to keep out unwanted spirits.
Placing a decoration representing a witch in the kitchen, to keep away illness and to favor health.
Crafting an effigie (no matter how crude!) and make it into the guardian of your home by charging it with your intent of protection and placing it near the front door.
Crafting small witch ladders to hang around the house.
Traveler's Luck Powder
Intent: To keep one safe and free from mishaps on long trips.
Ingredients:
Irish Moss (aka Carrageen)
Comfrey Root
Feverfew
Black Cohosh
White Oak Bark
Nutmeg
Materials:
Mortar & Pestle
Funnel
Mesh Strainer
Collection Dish
Container
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use the Black Cohosh if you are or think you might be pregnant. If need be, you can substitute Basil. Note: Powdered versions of most herbs are available online. I recommend such sites as Starwest Botanicals and Penn Herbs for the quality products at reasonable prices. Also, if you can get your hands on a good spice grinder, you can make your own powder from dried herb products.
Grind each ingredient separately for several minutes to produce fine powder. Sieve the material through the mesh strainer into the collection dish; this removes the larger ungrindable pieces and gives you cleaner powdered herb. (Pro-Tip: Putting a funnel under the strainer helps reduce lost material.) Retain the leftover large pieces that donβt make it through the strainer. You can use this for loose incense or charm bags later. Remember, witchlings: waste not, want not! (For the Nutmeg, supermarket spice works just fine.) Combine the component powders in the collection dish, mix well, and bottle immediately. Fold a few pinches in a paper packet containing your travel details. Tuck this into your luggage or the glove compartment of your car. For more travel general protection, you can sprinkle a few pinches in the footwells of your car, or just keep a few blank paper packets around if you frequently travel on short notice.

I call upon thee
something ive been doing to feel more connected with the elements is choosing one at the beginning of my day to focus on. say if i chose fireβid dress in warm colors, wear related jewelry, light a lot of candles that day, appreciate the sun and spend time in its light, etc. it really helps me feel more in tune with them, and is pretty fun as well!
i used to think life would never treat me well and now iβm like. life is good and bad and hurtful and loving and kind and uncaring and thoughtless and discerning and bountiful and unforgiving and cruel and holds its arms wide open waiting for me to either lean in or let go and i get to do that over and over and over again
