âMom made me do it. Said itâd be fun for us to bond over.â
âThanks for sharinâ sis.â
since iâve been tossing around the idea of having spinel and jasper on this blog too ( and ive been wanting to rp the two as well but have no desire to make them their own blogs )
im gonna add them to the blogs, i.e add bio pages for them and give them their own tags. might change the blog url in the future but for now it stays just so people can recognize the blog easier

Hearing her voice, the accent on her lips was only making Opal grow more and more sickened by the situation. Was she only here to taunt her? Sheâd had plenty enough with people mocking her accent, and hearing it come from someone whoâd meant a lot to her only made it worse.
âStop mockinâ me. Just stop all of this.â
âMock ya?â
For a moment, Flora actually looked hurt by the implication. She kept that accent going so she wouldnât forget her. Yet here she is getting flak about it. Of course, she regained her composure once more and merely took a single step toward the other to test the reaction.
âI told you years ago how I felt about the way I talk. I told you a lot of personal things about myself, did you really forget all of that?â Opal takes a step backwards, even if part of her wants to talk things out, see if it helps, she has to get herself to safety, especially after she witnessed how willing she was to take an innocent life away.
âStop beinâ like this, this ainât the Flora I fell in love with.â
opclescence:
She canât look. Her eyes shut immediately and her stomach feels nauseated, her face completely drains of itâs color and itâs hard for her to believe that this was the same girl she had been with years ago. Once she opens her eyes, she does anything to avoid looking at what she did.
âWhy are you doinâ this?â
âWhat, no small talk? Havenât seen me for years and cuttinâ right tâ the chase? Yâall really didnât miss me that much.â
The smile, despite being sickening itself, falls flat in an instant. With that, the woman hardly even resembled Flora in the faintest sense of the word. No life in her cold, almost seemingly glowing eyes.
âI told ya. Revenge. I do my job ân my bossâll help me get that.â

She honestly thought sheâd never see her again, though somewhere in the back of her mind there was a small amount of hope that that wasnât true. And here she was, staring at Flora who almost seemed like an entirely different woman from the lady sheâd fell in love with.
Opal remains composed, despite the fact thereâs far too many emotions running in her mind right now. She canât treat this Flora like she was the same many years ago, but itâs clear as day that sheâs changed for the worse over time.
âWhat happened to you?â
âOh, yâ know. Sent to a planet that wanted nothing more than tâ use me until I was broken, tossed back ontâ the streets by my own parents, then picked up by someone lookinâ tâ help me get some payback on this kai-forsaken world.â
As she said this, she casually swung her blade down on the man that took the chance to try and flee. The blade never seemed to touch them, but the sheer speed seemed to connect. Blood splattered across Flora and she didnât even seem to bat an eye while she looked to the other.
Opal hardly seemed to change at allâŠ
âWhat âve you been up ta?â

â..Well, didnât expect tâ see you here.âÂ
It was a rather honest response. The woman almost didnât realize who it was until the hair clicked somewhere in the back of her mind. She hadnât seen her (reluctant) ex since before her kidnapping. At the moment, however, she was about to do away with what seemed to be a completely random person on the streets.

âSomeone mad mom and dad ainât around to tuck her in and read bedtime stories? Looks like you could use a nap, god knows you fuckinâ need one.â
Sheâs gonna get to training, and fast. Gotta kick a fuckerâs ass.
opclescence:
âIâm being realistic. Being put in that situation with little to no advice and a good pat on the back sayinâ âgood fuckinâ luckâ is gonna make anyone have little chance of survivinâ. Besides, yer the one who put her there in the first place, I know sheâll do great, but it ainât because of you, thatâs for sure.â
âShe asked for this. Strength comes from strife. Sitting here on goodâol Earth living with her parents was holding her back. Just like you were.â
âYou canât get strong from just training. Those that face strife, that stare death in the face and come back smiling⊠thereâs a clear difference between them and the rest. Either sheâll live, and prove she was worth the effort⊠or sheâll die a failure. Iâm not gonna claim to be responsible for either. What happens to that girl is up to her, now.â
âNo, what yer doinâ is reckless and irresponsible. Yer throwinâ her into a situation thatâll end up doinâ more harm than good. Yer methods are tactless and cruel, and whether or not you say you will or wonât, you ARE gonna be responsible for her death. Yâainât a mentor or whatever the hell ya wanna call yerself, yer just a terrible person lookinâ for an excuse to kill someone.â
âBrothers? What brothers? They moved out a long time ago, I donât know what yer talkinâ about.â
opclescence:
â No, just to advise ya that if you go through with this, sheâll more than likely die. Some teacher youâd be if that happens.â
âWow. Got a lot of faith in her, I see.â
âIâm not a fucking idiot. I gave her the tools sheâd need to survive. If she dies, thatâs her own damn fault now.â

âRather than waste my breath on talkinâ about yer pathetic excuse for a personality, how about I ask what the hell ya think yer doinâ with Flora?â
âShe wants to be stronger.â
âIâm making her stronger. Are you here just to insult me and waste my time with inane questions, orâŠ?â
â No, just to advise ya that if you go through with this, sheâll more than likely die. Some teacher youâd be if that happens.â

âWell, thereâs parks, the beach, movie theaters, arcades and stuff like that. I know thereâs a library my ma likes to go to, anythinâs game really.â
âOh, well, Iâve never even touched a game before so the arcade would be an entirely new experience.â
âOh dude, we gotta go to this one arcade I went to awhile ago, think youâll have real fun there. Sounds good, yeah?â
