STUDIO PROBA: COOL FOR DAYS
By Brooklyn based graphic designer and illustrator Alex Proba, Studio Proba is a collection of works that combines contrasting colours and refreshingly nutty elements. The studio has a surrealistic take on concrete aspects, twisting reality to illustrate designs that embrace both the physical and hypnagogic worlds. Through making use of diverse objects and shapes like furniture and organics across a range of mediums including digital art, prints, and textiles, Proba's creations of trendy pieces with dreamy imagery add the extra to ordinary.
Well-known for her collection, ‘A Poster a Day’, Proba began the series on a late night while she felt a lack of inspiration, as she tells the Wild Magazine. The artist found herself creating beautiful graphics simply for pure aestheticism, and then challenged herself to design a new poster each day to keep her flow of creativity. This marked the beginning of a savvy and finesse-full series that would eventually give rise to Studio Proba, and with an outcome like that, major props should be given to artist’s block for blessing everyone so darn dearly.

VETEMENTS: A TAKEOVER
By the hailed Demna Gvasalia who currently watches over the fashion house Balenciaga, Vetements has, in recent times, become one of the most copied names in the industry. The house has quickly established itself to be one of the most innovative brands - steering away from any traditional clothing norms and focusing on raw, reformist, and progressive pieces.
Vetements has created a new, gritty alternative wave in fashion, giving rise to divergence and peculiarity - seriously lustful and thriving elements in today’s high fashion and streetwear scenes.
