Hey!! So I love your guy that you made so so much and he literally altered the course of my life

You mentioned once that he was based off of the 72 puma gt and I thought that was such a handsome car, so I shared it with my dad who’s a car guy, and he talked about the Brazilian racing scene from when he was a kid (which he still followed even though we’re not even from that hemisphere) and then we ended up going to an Indy car race live and a bunch of car shows, and now I’m a racing fan!! Fervor literally strengthened my relationship with my dad and now I have two new cool hobbies

So I just found out about sharpclaw… I never knew about this character until today while scrolling on TikTok and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because they look basically identical to my OC, lol 😭

I’m actually kinda sad because now I need to redesign Catscan, who was my first tf oc ever… oh well I guess???

ive been wanting to post some of my tf ocs for a while now so i thought id start with good ole pewter!! i rlly love this little guy, couple more details under the cut

-was a respected up and coming scientist during the early era of functionist takeover, but was a little too progressive and a little too curious and was punished for it

-became one of the institutes earliest experiments: was subjected to shadowplay and brainwashing to believe that he was just a machine, forced into his altmode with a transformation inhibitor, and kept awake ('on') at all times. there were two sides to the experiment- one was the brainwashing, seeing if they could truly turn a progressive idealist into a piece of machinery, and the other was whether or not a computer that is also a transformer would ever need to be shut off. as long as hes got energon, he still functions, right?

-lots of inbetween stuff, including being moved off-planet, being put on synthetic energon instead of real energon, fall of the institute, being abandoned at some rando base at some point during the war, shadowplay slowly breaking down until he can somewhat recollect that hes a Person, yada yada yada

-finally gets rescued by the lost light crew on one of their wacky adventures (skids finds the transformation inhibitor)

-is he fine? who knows!!! he sure seems to think so :D

-hes my chew toy and i love him

StarBee idea: Bee taking care of a sick Starscream because I headcanon fliers are more susceptible to illness as a LOT of stuff can get into their thrusters (like pollen, bird feathers, sand, etc.)
