cat & dog, elle emerson (@transsextual)
[text description:
I was raised by a cat & a dog. / I was taught to love closeness & distance / in equal measure. / I am quick to trust and quick to forgive and quick to anger and quick to run. / Love is for anyone who gives me so much as a passing glance, a scratch on the chin, but / loyalty / is for the people who allow me to curl up in the sunbeams of their hearts & then vanish down the hall / & who have faith that I will meander back. / I am glad to see you whenever it happens. / I waited by the door all day. All I think of is you.
end text description.]
If I lived by the sea I would never be really sad. I get an immense sense of eternity and peace from the ocean. I can lose myself in staring at it hour after hour.

“My 20s have been the loneliest era in my life. I am surrounded by people but not connecting with anyone. Everyone is living their own lives while I am still waiting for mine to start. I feel lost between what I should be feeling and how I actually feel.”

It’s so fucking exhausting fighting your brain every day dude
“If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I bet they’d live a lot differently. When you look into infinity, you realize there are more important things than what people do all day.”

“Hatred would have been easier. With hatred, I would have known what to do. Hatred is clear, metallic, one-handed, unwavering; unlike love.”
