"I don't have official titles and awards. I'm nobody. I live in Tbilisi, in my elderly parents' home, and when it rains, I sleep with an umbrella and I'm happy because it's like Tarkovsky's films.” Sergei Parajanov
Sergei Parajanov’s Thai umbrella was transferred from the Sergey Parajanov Museum to the Restoration Department of the National Gallery of Armenia in 2022 in a severely deteriorated state. Today, following a complex, multi-phase restoration process, it is once again on display for visitors to admire.
