my grandfather passed away earlier today. my dad messaged my brother and i about it, then 2 minutes later he opened the garage door signalling he's home. pretty sure that was a painful drive home, i think he pulled over to hear the news or was on a phone call while driving. i feel bad though, i am not particularly sobbing or ugly crying or anything but it's tough because i don't really know my grandpa that well. language barrier, country barrier, last time i physically saw him was 10 years ago. i feel more sad for the people mourning than him being gone myself. life is tough.

hi, just graduated a few days ago
slept through the 9 am prerecorded ceremonial powerpoint slideshow of the graduates (i think?), wish my school hosted an actual graduation like literally every other school did. bummer! online classes at your final year of college sucks, moreso after two years at community college. i didn't even get to stay at irvine for two full quarters.

May is such an interesting month to me, it's always been this stepping stone month to change, moreso than that moment between December and January. It's always been a change into the next grade or year of school but it's kind of different this year, it's now just an entrance to a void of true adulthood, not like meeting the age of 18 head on, but a real future of uncertainty.
Without hope, people fall into apathy. There's still a lot left that's worth fighting for.

New month! New year. still feels like 2020, 2019 even, maybe 2018, so blurry
few days ago i forgot if i was 21 or 22 years old, i don’t really feel like i’m either or anything really. hope this year is a memorable one. something is bound to happen. there are still things i’m looking forwards to. i wonder what people who aren’t delved into some interesting hobby or interest do in their time.
Good night
