In honor and excitement over Madds Buckley's new song 'Sitting Pretty' coming out tomorrow (tonight at midnight for EST folk), I asked if it was alright that I shared the storyboard to the first addition to DogBird's official continued storyline— 'Concept Without Proof'.

Okay I know youve prolly seen these typa questions a lot and sorry but I gotta know...

WHAT ARE THE NAMES OF THE CHARACTERS ON THE SUNSET ON SUMMERVILLE ALBUM COVER????

HAHAHA They don't have names, actually!

When Madds and I were concepting the art for the album, we were going back and forth on the idea of IP vs original characters. In the end, we decided that there was an ongoing theme of someone "looking up" to someone else (whether that was admiration, envy, fear, or desire).

So, I concepted the characters loosely on the tropes as opposed to giving them a solid background, name, or purpose. All while keeping in mind that this was still heavily inspired by MHA, so they have general vibes of your typical "anime high school" uniform.

People are free to give them names, headcanon them, turn them into whatever you want! What are YOUR theories on their relationship? There is no wrong one ^^
