If you had a ticket for the TADC finale and are wondering what to do with it due to the leaks, G!News highly encourages you to keep it. Go see the movie! And yes, even if you were spoiled online. Here’s the thing, as fans ourselves, we understand how upsetting it must be to come across a potential spoiler.

“What’s the point,” right? Well, we’ll tell you: community.

The experience of watching it in theatres can never be replicated from watching it through an MP4 file; the surround sound, the big screen, the reactions, sitting next to other fans like you. Seeing it in theaters is something memorable.

You get to support and cheer for the creative team behind it. Not just the animators and Gooseworx, but also the editors, music producers, voice actors, storyboard artists, and many more contributors.

In the current state of indie animation—and animation, in general—it all feels like an endless spiral of hopelessness. Corporations and creators falling toward AI “art”, graduates unable to get hold of financial security. The animation and art industry is certainly a hard space to be in, to witness, but don’t let this discourage you; this is the right time to stand together. Art was always and forever will be human, to express and feel. To unite and connect, fans.

Unable to get the chance to see it in theatres? No worries, there are plenty of ways to give your support! Be there at the YouTube premiere, buy their merch, make some fan creations yourself. But most importantly, be there; there’s nothing more powerful than a community cheering on.

One way or another, this finale is going to leave a lasting impact on all indie animation, so show them that this is worthwhile. Show them that months’ worth of hard work from the team wasn’t all for nothing. Show that true passion is there and wanted. In the meantime, stay cautious, be kind and respectful.

Apparently TADC Last Act was leaked on Twitter, is this confirmed/verified? If so might be good to make a PSA to avoid spreading leaks or discussing the contents

G!News is still in the process of verifying these clips, a percentage already taken down by DMCA and/or are fake. To clarify, just because something was "taken down for copyright reasons", it doesn't automatically mean the clips are real; some were clearly joke leaks. We have made a community notice yesterday, but will soon release another post in regards our own findings. Fake or not, it is incredibly important to read the notice over and G!News will not, under any circumstances, post any spoiler or leaks. Not even joke leaks, that wouldn't be cool of us.

As for the pinned, that has been corrected 👍 Though, we were a bit surprised to know someone has actually read our pinned, haha.

G!News has received a tip of the TADC: The Final Act film getting leaked online, even go as far of a supposed "hacker" willing to sell it. We have yet to verify this, currently it's not confirmed to be true, but we strongly advise the community to treat it as a spoiler (not just on Tumblr).
