Created a Way of the Kensei Monk; gimmick is a materialistic monk mercenary from a church that worships the god of wealth and commerce.
Started playing a Daggerheart campaign with some friends. It's kinda wild west themed.
Playing Detective Limestone, a halfling wizard who focuses on support spells. He uses a cigar as a wand and an oversized briefcase as a tower shield. Yes, he is just a Columbo reference.
Drew some art for my girlfriend's new Daggerheart character.
Laptop was broken for a while and I started a new job, so I haven't been drawing as much.
This is a map I made a few months ago. Workshopping my own tabletop setting in case I ever get a chance to run my own campaigns.
Haunted DnD OC. Wanted to try to make a strength based Rogue and a sneaky Barbarian, so fused the two here. Love the flavor of Phantom Rogue; Zealot is only for the Necro damage.
I decided to go back and add the names and class(es) to the existing ones. Maybe I'll post them again later once everything looks coherent.
Doubt you really dabble these days, But I just wanna say that your take on Robin in FE:A genuinely slaps. Great work!
Resting Villain face is honestly such a cool design choice.
Oh, thank you! I hadn't played a FE game where I could edit the player character before so it was a nice surprise
Did a reference sheet for Peony Puddlewink.
Changed her hair a bit; mainly wanted to experiment with an outfit and color palette. Not entirely sold on the outfit, but I like elements of it; I like the asymmetrical leather breastpadding since she holds her bow in her left hand and would risk catching that boob on the drawstring (I think that's how it works; I don't know a lot about archery, lol). I also think the quiver turned out really well.
Another DnD OC
This time I've gone for a Centuar Eldritch Knight, centered around lightning spells to augment her martial fighting. Think it would be really fun to try and play a centuar, with the unique issues and potential advantages that would bring.
Haven't posted in a while; was in kind of an art slump. I've drawn several things, but haven't finished much. Got really revitalized over the weekend when I got the idea for a couple new DnD characters.
This is Peony Puddlewink; a Goblin/Fey Wanderer Ranger. She was mistakenly teleported to the Feywild as a baby and was luckily adopted by a coven of sapphic pixies. After she grew up in the tiny grove, her mothers sent her back to the relatively safer material plane to become an adventurer. Each of her five pixie mothers kissed her on the forehead as she left, leaving behind a portion of their magical reserves in the form of a crown of pink, arcane butterflies that are actually how Peony facilitates "her" fey and druidic abilities.
Did another DnD doodle for my Bard/Rogue's character document. I've had two prologue-style sessions so far, and we're supposed to start the campaign in earnest next weekend. Pretty excited.
CW: Blood
Drew some sketches for a new OC/DnD character. Have been trying to workshop an Oath of Redemption Paladin who used to be a cold-blooded, unscrupulous bounty hunter/mercenary. She is struggling to attempt pacifism to save her soul and is desperate to redeem enemies because she needs to know that bad people like herself can be better.
Drew my character from Scarlet with my shiny Farigiraf.
I should draw some more Pokémon, since redrawing old card art was what got me into drawing as a kid. I think it is intimidating, though, since their designs are very iconic; very easy to make them look uncanny if you slightly mess up a proportion.
Here's the screenshot I took for reference.
"Poor Fucker..."
Painted Karlach. Still frustrated by the painting process, as opposed to my usual style, but I learned a lot.
Drew another fullbody of my DnD OC
Just trying to feel out the style and palette. Have made some changes to the one I posted yesterday as well. I'll upload all of them again later since I'll probably make more adjustments.
Another doodle for my DnD character.
This isn't the first time this frustration has happened, but I think I've realized the severity of my problem designing outfits for OCs. Fashion is, like, an entirely separate skill; I can't just expect to make it up as I go, especially with the added difficulty of trying to learn how to draw an outfit that I've never seen before.
I'll work on researching some fashion/character design and see if I can get a better eye for it. Meanwhile, Wisteria here looks like a pair of bowling shoes.
Doodled a quick drawing of Beat from the UNBEATABLE demo on Steam.
Really enjoyed the demo; enjoying a lot of demos on Steam this past week. I wish I had a blog or something where I could just write reviews for all of them.
Drew A.B.A's idle pose from Guilty Gear for a bit of practice. Really like a lot of her keyframes.
Tried once again in futility to get into Guilty Gear. I love the cast, but I keep forgetting how horrible the online and lobby systems are. Eventually, I ended up back at Granblue Rising and Street Fighter. Much better games.
