ā Sylvia Plath, quoting an acquaintance in āThe Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plathā
I love planners, highlighters, giant calendars, nice ball point pens, to do lists, & anything else that gives me the illusion that Iām getting my life together
i love listening to MUSIC!!!!!! and imagining things happening
To me, songs are kind of like bookmarks. Have you ever listened to a song that you havenāt heard in a while, and all of a sudden, all the memories of that time period come back, and you remember what your life used to be like. Theyāre like milestones in your life.

what are you doing daily to build toward having the kind of life you want to live?
I love you. Without end.
quick reminder that itās ok to say that you love reading and that reading is your passion without reading 30+ books in a year. if you connect with books and love the power of the written word, youāre bookish. you donāt need to justify your love of reading.
I like figuring you out. You are so human.
- Anne Sexton, from a letter to W.D. Snodgrass written c. January 1959
you are every lovely word I could possibly think of
social media has really warped our perception of creativity and hobbies. Stop doing things to post them. Just write. Just journal. Just sketch. Just read. Just annotate. Just sing. Just crochet. Just do the thing youāre going to do with the assumption no one will ever see or know you did it. Stop performing. Just enjoy it.
If only she knew how powerful her prayers are maybe she would run there first.
