Here’s what I don’t get: what’s his basis for saying it’s “unfair?”

The existing precedent is that none of the children or grandchildren of the monarch except for the direct in line to the throne have taxpayer security UNLESS they are actively undertaking an engagement & even then it’s only for that timeframe.

What would be “unfair” is if HE got something that no one else in the family is entitled to 🤷🏼‍♀️

You know what's funny? When Meghan entered the scene, Kate was pregnant while she, on the other hand, was preparing a wedding spectacle and attending various events arranged by the royals. The spotlight was focused on her. After the wedding, Kate was MIA for months she happily used her maternity leave and maybe glad the press are not focusing on her. We only get to see her in big events, and then she's back to her children, but Meghan didn't use that opportunity well, her drama was everywhere, we get hundreds of pr everyday, her pr was hitting the ground running that it was exhausting. I think that Kate's absence really does open people's eyes the contrast of the two and for taking Kate for granted.

Vanessa and I have talked about this a lot. I'm sure many have. I remember in 2018-2019 saying it too.

Meghan had plenty of time on the scene without Catherine to acclimate to EVERYTHING: Press, family, engagements etc., and it didn't happen. There were attempts, I remember by that time the press kept saying she was the best at EVERYTHING. She was everyone's favourite and much more but in the end, it didn't stick. As much as they tried and even if Catherine wasn't making public commitments for several months, the cracks started to show.

I'm pretty sure Catherine was happy that the attention wasn't on her after so long. She was able to enjoy a much longer maternity leave and return when she was ready and so was her baby and by the time that happened, it was all falling apart for Meghan and Harry.

Harry and Meghan want to blame the press, Catherine and the family for Meghan's failure as a working royal and as a member of the family, but the truth is that they are the ones to blame. No matter how hard you try you can never disguise the smell of rubbish with perfume.
