Kauffman House, Richard Neutra, 1946.

This classic Neutra design was renovated by Marmol Radziner and Associates in the 1990′s, after its owners looked at hundreds of original sketches in the Neutra archives and enlisted the help of photographer Julius Shulman, who had photographed it in its original form.  The building can be explored on video in the Shulman documentary VISUAL ACOUSTICS (2011), as well as COAST MODERN (2012) (Photo © Joe Fletcher Photography via midmodandmore)
