Far East Movement - Fighting For Air featuring Vincent Frank aka Frankmusik
you take my breath away from me .. you got me got me fighting for aaaair ;)
The first kusudama I made this semester! =D It’s from a book that I got in Japantown, San Francisco.
Pale Blue Origami Rose!
Shop Link:https://www.etsy.com/listing/105579073/single-pale-blue-origami-rose
This a hand crafted New Kawasaki Rose, made of delicate washi pale blue origami paper. I invest lots of care into this rose, adding a calyx, wire stem, and leaves to make this rose more elegant and realistic. The wire stem is malleable, and is durable. Not only can you put this in a bouquet, you can also wrap this around your list, or as a decoration that can wrap around anything! Due to the amount of care taken with this rose, and it’s wire stem and leaves, this rose takes a longer amount of time.
Origami Versailles Kusudama.
Made from Post-it notes ^^
Ok. So in theory I should have lots of time to fold since it was the school holidays but in reality… not so much. In this two weeks, I only managed to fold one tessellation. This one is something else I did a long time ago when I was trying out this pattern. Iso-area square twist. Found the cp on Flickr. Nt the best bt whatever.
What a gorgeous way to photograph a tessellation! A little back lighting really shows off the pattern.
Better Example :-)
a lovely cactus i folded for my lovely boyfriend (: <3
(and that is the actual size, btw!)
Inspired by this post.
Bored.
Tonight and decided to do some three-patch stress relieveing folding. Coincidentally the hedgehog was simpler than the otter.

This is my first model folded with cotton paper. Cotton paper is much more durable than printing paper or cheap origami paper from bookstores. I actually folded this model a few days ago with printing paper and it ripped on the crease from the Devil’s chest straight through its stomach :( It also doesn’t create white creases on the shiny surfaces. However, I bought the handmade type instead of the machine-made type so the fiber-y texture makes the paper become very furry.
