Selune came to be as an accident, created by remnants of a battle between Ink and Nightmare. The one who found her was Dream, days later as he was actually looking for Ink. Seeing a child in the Doodlesphere all alone shocked him but even more did that she felt so much like the brother he missed dearly. He told Ink what he found but while Ink said there was the possibility of her being made after his battle with Nightmare - as this was the only thing he had to do with him - and was pretty excited in the beginning, he kept forgetting she existed, so Dream came to visit her as much as possible. But most of the time she spent alone in the Doodlesphere. In her loneliness she often tried to spend time with Ink and copy his behavior, which made her start to believe she is also soulless and sometimes stole his vials. Drinking them had no effect on her but it became a habit to drink them.
Because of the way she was born, she thinks all children are made accidentally. She calls herself "pretty useless" in battle and prefers to watch. She actually just wants to chill and read but it feels nice for her to exist in someone's eyes. She's also forgetful to the point where she even forgets her own name. Unlike Ink however she doesn't write anything on her scarf, the only thing standing there is her own name. She's a douchebag at times but in certain situations shows high intelligence and analysis abilities. Since she didn't have much interaction with other people, she often doesn't really know how to act or even that she can use any kind of magic.
Her pupils change shape depending on her mood, but not color.
If she's about to forget things, her eye lights vanish for a moment before it.
She can make drawings come to life but can't draw.
For Selune being bored feels like being emotionless, so she would often consume any kind of paint material she can get, like water colors, crayons, colored pencils, acrylics, anything, because this feeling reminds her too much of her time stuck in the Doodlesphere and she doesn't like it at all.
