Okay! I decided to put together a rec list of the Bonnie/Klaus fanfiction I've been reading because I loved the fics and wanted to share them.

The Edge of Night by Szajnie
This fic takes place during season 7 of TVD and season 3 of TO. Instead of Bonnie hiding out with Enzo from the Armory she goes to New Orleans and runs into Klaus.
I read this fic years ago and loved it and would come back to it every now and then for some Klonnie.
The Summoned Witch by Szajnie
This fic is an AU that features seven year old Hope Mikaelson who in an effort to protect her family, casts a spell to summon a powerful witch to protect her family. Bonnie Bennett is summoned by a seven year old Mikaelson with no memory of how she died and why. All she knows is that she has to protect the Mikaelson Family, former enemies, as a result of her summoning from the dead.
Loved loved loved this fic! This features the Mystic Falls gang but not in a good light. This fic is very critical of their actions towards Bonnie, and it drives the effort that is put into her friendships with the Mystic Falls gang and the choices that Bonnie makes for her future.
This is another AU. One where Klaus' werewolf is focused on more. This fic features Bonnie and Klaus being Mates. As a result of their relationship both Bonnie and Klaus make an effort in their personal lives (Bonnie with the Mystic Falls gang and Klaus with his siblings) to be, do, and choose better. This one is more smut heavy, but the plot is still there and there is a big bad. This is another work that is critical of the Mystic Falls gang so if you're not into that, MOVE ON!

This is also an AU! This one is hard to summarize so I'll just tease with the premise. Takes place years after season 7 of TVD and season 3 of TO. Bonnie is looking for a weapon to destroy an ancient entity that has been released. She finds it in New Orleans...in Klaus Mikaelson's chest. This fic also explores more of Klaus' werewolf. This is a Mystic Falls gang critical fic. Also, an Elena Gilbert critical fic. This does have Major Character Death, but I thought it was so well done (and lowkey satisfying).
