Our Long Overdue Introductions
After looking over other Overseers’ blogs, we realized that our dossier page is very lacking in information. We were also made aware that this page is not readily accessible to all users. We did have a list of “fun facts” about ourselves posted previously, but we feel a more proper introduction may be beneficial.
O5-1 “The Dead Man” he/him You will not be speaking with him directly. He speaks exclusively through intermediaries. It is still best practice to address him, and not his intermediaries, as they are, functionally, acting in his stead. He is capable of speaking, he is electing not to.
O5-2 “The Gardener” she/her, they/them She is a very pragmatic woman, she is also “liable to win the grandma Olympics,” as one member of staff put it. She tends to mediate for us, and she is one of the individuals who supported the creation of this blog.
O5-3 “The Beacon” pronouns vary (he/him default) He’s fascinated by the human mind, and he handles many things for us. He is, however, somewhat temperamental.
O5-4 “Frost” he/him He is another of the parties who supported this blog’s creation. He is highly likely to be one of the parties responding to you, if you ask a generalized question. He is good for mediation, and keeping things in check.
O5-5 “Blackbird” any pronouns except she/her He is also highly likely to respond to messages that are general. He is very friendly, and enjoys speaking to others. He is very enthusiastic about this blog. He also handles mediation.
O5-6 “The Experimenter” he/him, she/her He is away, frequently, and may be late to respond to things, but he will get around to it, in his time. He is prone to researching constantly, and writing papers is his main hobby.
O5-7 “The Unlikely” he/him Another who is away frequently, he is busy with external affairs often. He is prone to get excitable about things, and is likely to answer questions about his interests, regardless of who they are addressed to.
O5-8 “Magnolia” she/her, they/them She really does not want to speak much, but she’s our “designated mean mod,” as our Eleven put it. She’s particularly no nonsense when she feels she has to be.
O5-9 “The Outsider” she/her Another who was pretty into the idea of this blog. She’s into research, tea, and nice conversation. She’s very likely to be around to comment on responses, though not as likely as Four and Five are.
O5-10 “The Assassin” she/her Honestly, she’s just tired. She is around frequently, but won’t go out of her way to engage with you.
O5-11 “The Father of Lies” and “Mailman” varies/any We don’t know which one is speaking at any given time, neither will you. What kind of response you might expect from them will vary based on the day and other factors. Generally, they try to be agreeable. They were both on board with the idea of this blog.
O5-12 “The Contractor” he/him He is around, but comments infrequently. He tends to be making sure everyone is taken care of as needed.
O5-13 “Moratorium” it/its We tried to ask it for an introduction and all it gave us was a resounding “no”. It will very likely say very little.
