There was so much going on that Hayley felt as though she were going in an endless loop. How could one accomplish it all in one go? How could one do it all? She was left with no answers. She wished that she could make everything alright again. That she could bring Klaus home to the family and their daughter, that she could deal with Hope without any issues. She wished that she could just have a normal day. "Sorry," she breathed with a shake of her head, turning to face him she gave him a soft smile, "I'll be alright"
He could sense her dismay, but in truth, could not blame such unravelled feelings. She had a lot going on, of which involved her daughter. He would never truly understand such a connection, despite how this hurt him. He had never had a child of his own, but Hope was as close as it came. He also worried for her, and was deliberating a next course of action. He felt helpless, not being able to make the situation better for them. He nodded, exhaling as be did. "You do not need to apologise, you are simply worried and no one should expect you to change your feelings for that."
