Impermanence
The Universe is Dynamic.
Everything is impermanent, both bad and good.
When times are good enjoy them while they last and bear in mind they will end.
When times are bad be patient and look forward with hope to the good changes ahead.
Impermanence isn’t a bad thing! Impermanence brings hope and it renews existence.
For those who are alive death is certain, for the dead rebirth is certain.
Things will get better, be patient!

Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry, the philosophy which does not laugh and the greatness which does not bow before children.
Khalil Gibran (via wordsnquotes)
I’ve found that growing up means being honest. About what I want. What I need. What I feel. Who I am.

“There is a misconception that Buddhism is a religion, and that you worship Buddha. Buddhism is a practice, like yoga. You can be a Christian and practice Buddhism. I met a Catholic priest who live in a Buddhist monastery in France. He told me that Buddhism makes him a better Christian. I love that”
Thich Nhat Hanh
And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.
Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore
Please understand. After a traumatic experience, the human system of self-preservation seems to go onto permanent alert, as if the danger might return at any moment. When that traumatic experience was ongoing for years on end, this alertness becomes almost impossible to get rid off. After this prolonged state of alertness, the human psyche takes a toll. The effort to appear "normal" in the eyes of society collapses.
