"What are you looking at?"
The trio who had been staring and whispering at her turned away very quickly and shut up. Kotone Shiomi was not someone many people were friends with. She had this air of danger around her, not in an exciting way. She was mean in interactions, skipped school, and had countless rumors that were too wild to be true. She had never gotten violent. Hell, she had high marks on exams which she never missed. But not one friend.
Kotone didn't mind it. The only reason she went to school at all was cause she'd get bothered otherwise. They really couldn't argue much if her absences didn't affect her grades. Besides, school was boring. She had more fun messing stuff up with Strega. Though apparently waves were being made with the Kirijos and their group. Not that she cared or whatever. So what if they killed some big shadows? Not like it mattered.
As long as she got one shot on that red headed bitch and her father. That was all she needed. She was only after them.
Despite those thoughts, she looked like her mind was blank as she looked out the window.

Come early before homeroom, Kotone had miraculously decided to come to school. There was really nothing to do at her place and she didn't feel like sitting in an empty flat. Better than stewing about what happened last night. She had barely gotten a warm up before she got interrupted.
Currently she was buying a chocolate milk from the vending machine. Other girls tended to buy out strawberry, but Kotone preferred chocolate. More for her at least. She spotted Minako approaching her, sipping the milk through a straw. "What do you want?"
Minako too preferred chocolate milk and had originally been heading to the machine for some though stopped when she saw Kotone.
A sadness gripped her, she was happy to know her sister was alive, but in turn either her sister simply didn't believe her at all or she didn't care about Minako anymore.
Without a word at first she held out the dropped keychain.
"I think that's yours. I found it last night," after handing it to her she went on to her own homeroom.
Quite suddenly, Kotone grabbed Minako's arm hard, pulling her in. She leaned in to whisper. "Listen. I don't know what your deal is. But there is one thing I know for sure. There is no way you are my sister. I saw her die. With my own eyes. So for you to just say you are her... It pisses me off."
Her eyes were hard, looking into Minako's with full focus. "That aside, that little late night stuff you do? You should stop it. Leave their group. The Kirijo Group... They will use you and leave you to die. You don't matter to them. They have a lot of skeletons in their closet and they aren't gonna stop adding more if they have to."

She laughed a little at the reaction to her joke. Good, Yukari was in high spirits. She liked to tease just enough to get Yukari a little riled. She stood and put up a thumbs up. "Leave it to me. I'll make you a delicious midnight snack real quick. Some nice tea to help you sleep. Maybe an ice pack first."
Of course Kotone was the usual cook. She did it so many time growing up that she was able to make a lot for the dorm. She always made delicious stuff! She did enjoy it a lot, a sort of love language for her to give food.
She smiled widely, nodding. "Okay, thanks. I'll be counting on you." As always, Kotone knew just how to make her feel better even when she was in pain. Yukari stayed on her bed and reached for the remote, wincing a little from the movement. Once she got it, she leaned back and turned on the TV to watch something funny or light-hearted.
Flipping through the channels, all of them had commercials. "Boring... but it'll do. No Sailor Moon episode tonight. Shame." She sighed, glancing down at her stomach while waiting for the leader to return.
Soon enough, Kotone had returned with a tray. Two glasses of water, a set of rice balls for the both of them, and an ice pack. Setting the tray on a nearby table, She offered the ice pack to Yukari. "Quickly heated up leftover meat for the filling, should be light for your stomach. Water will help. I'll keep you company til you feel sleepy, okay?"
She was already situating herself by the bed, food and drinks set where they could both reach.
What color would you like?

She held her battle axe up, pointed at Minako. She had to keep her away. Keep her identity a secret. Her free hand went to her head. She felt the pain of exertion as she called Persephone out again. Unlike the Persona figures from SEES, the nature was far more intense, less controlled. Made sense, Kotone didn't have an Evoker. A few deadly situations had given her the ability to force it out rather than artificially bring it out with Evokers.
With that intimidation, her Persona threw fire between them, the blaze creating a temporary wall. Kotone threw down her escape item, mist surrounding her and making her disappear. The two in the lobby were definitely surprised, giving Kotone just enough time to dash out even with the fast reacting Akihiko.
Back up with Kotone, the fire died down. But where the myterious Persona User had been was a fallen object.
A homemade Pyro Jack that Minako had seen before.
"It certainly is warm out today..."
Kotone has two cans of Pocari Sweat, handing one of the chilled drinks to her. "Here! This should help! I got an extra as a prize from a vending machine!"

Mitsuru would pick something up. Activity, the kind that pointed to combat. But that could not be right. After all, everyone was here prepping. There was no one who could fight shadows unless they had a persona. But Shadows were dying. That meant they could fight and win. That was all Mitsuru could figure with her level of information gathering. Couldn't even identify the person. But they were a bit up.
Kotone meanwhile was tearing through shadows. She was armed with a long battle axe, powerfully chopping through shadows. With her was a persona. A woman shaped one with a long jacket hanging on it's shoulders like a cape. It looked like a female delinquent. Kotone was dressed in a hoodie and baggy clothes. Unless one got close enough, they'd not be able to recognize her in the low light of Tartarus. Just a night venting her frustrations alone.
The group began traversing the levels occasionally splitting up. Minako decided to check out who it could be that was taking out shadows.
She knew she was on the right floor even without being told, there wasn't a shadow in sight as she walked the floor and eventually began to hear the sounds of combat.
As she came closer she saw someone with a persona fighting a shadow. She approached to help though the other didn't really look like they needed much help.
Her persona slammed a shadow to the ground. Before the humanoid shadow could lift it's head more than a little, Kotone brought her axe down like an executioner. Instant separation, very brutal. That was the way she fought.
It was only after that when Kotone noticed Minako. Her weapon was up, ready to go after her. Only a few seconds passed before she recognized her. That one, the one with the terrible joke about her dead sister.
Kotone wasn't one to just kill. She had not killed anyone personally. She typically dealt with shadows on trouble nights with Strega. The only ones she had eyes for had the last name Kirijo... Were they here with them? Probably, they had that red armband. She doubted Mitsuru was alone in the lobby. Probably had Sanada next to her. She had to leave. She had that item, a Goho-M. If she used it, she'd hit the lobby and book it before they could think about chasing her. Once out, she could lose them. She just needed an opening...

XXII - the fool
I may be sleepy, but an idea is forming.
P4 shadow with Kotone as the ruling princess. The shadow is a tyrant, tired of being nice and making everyone else happy. She wants her own happiness, screw everyone else. Getting to her requires several quest like objectives.
Is this something? Reblog or reply to me with opinions and I'll ready them when I wake.

Honestly, it was more a subconscious thing that Kotone did not recognize her. She remembered what happened. She saw her family die. Her parents and her sister. After years of believing that and focusing on her desire for revenge, her mind could not even think the other girl was her sister. Even if she looked like a doppleganger.
She looked annoyed at her approaching and sitting across from her. "That is who I am, but I don't know you. Are you from some other class? What, bored and found someone who looks like you? That is a little freaky, but I'm not the friendly type."
Minako was at a loss for words for a moment, hurt flashed on her face but she swallowed, forced a small smile back on her face and spoke, "I thought you were gone and was excited to see you again but I see that it isn't a good time for catching up..."
She trailed, off, standing back up and picking up her food.
"I'm sorry to bother you, I'm in 2-D whenever it is a better time for you."
She turned to leave, forcing the feelings down. Minako couldn't be sad, it was bad timing and just as she had thought her sister was gone, Kotone probably thought she had been as well. Just showing up and sitting in front of her during lunch must have annoyed her and thrown her off.
She didn't know what sick joke the other girl was playing, but there was no was her Minako and that Minako were the same. She had died. Kotone was the only survivor. They confirmed it. She was alone. She had no one. All she had was revenge keeping her going. Past that, she didn't care.
Huffing, she closed her bento box. All this had ruined her appetite. She was pissed. She'd look into the other girl when she had a chance. Seemed school found a new way to piss her right the hell off. This was why she didn't like coming.
She felt like letting off steam tonight on shadows.
