I love how similar Tsubomi is to Mob, personality-wise.

Tsubomi is popular, sought-after and more assertive than Mob is, sure, but their temperament is pretty similar. Tsubomi has a certain aloofness to her, a lack of social tact. She's almost too blunt and straightforward, and she's stubborn as well. Hard to impress and rattle...and she doesn't care if you have powers or not. She follows her own rules and doesn't sugarcoat to spare your feelings, but she's never malicious or unkind either. It's almost eerie how similar they are- Tsubomi-chan, are you from an alternate universe where Shigeo is born as a pretty girl ?

Some people may see her as vain, but that's only natural from her being a side character, we rarely get to see her inside thoughts or life outside of what Mob thinks of her. I think it's the point, though. We only know her superficially, and that's why she's not interested in Mob. (beyond him not being man enough haha)

I for one am quite fond of Tsubomi Takane.

You all need to understand that autonomy and especially bodily autonomy NEEDS to include being allowed to do things that are bad for you. True bodily autonomy includes being allowed to do things that are risky, drugs, cosmetic procedures and the like. Bodily autonomy needs to include being allowed to get high or smoke or get a BBL. The important part is education about the risks

However.

it is not the same as a queer (or otherwise) person of color .

you are not special or some white jesus for being Nice to people of color. part of this is that we need to be self-aware. as a white person, we grow up learning biases and microaggressions that build up over our livelihood. just because we are queer does not make us immune to being racists, intentionally or otherwise.

support people of color . unlearn micro aggressions and stereotypes. be Aware of your behavior, your speech, your actions and thoughts. tell your white friends when you know they are being out of line and don't be shy about doing so. people make mistakes but we have to Do Something about our mistakes. if you don't at least put in an effort I fear you aren't nearly as woke as you think you might be.
