There exist always a certain way of progression. For me and I guess in general Photography is defined as a medium to capture a real time situation. Personally I see myself looking more and more around for a kind of abstract interpretation of Photography. In search of abstract natural forms or technics to generate pictures which enable a free interpretation.  I startet a series called “CaCO3” where I focus on documenting natural by water generated forms in our urban environment. Last week I exhibit my first piece of the series in the BOXXX.galerie at the Weltecho in Chemnitz. The BOXXX.galerie is the former entrance of the main Galerie and opened for everyone in the public area of the Weltecho. The exhibition will be run for two month from now on.  I created a 1,5 x 2,00 m sized picture and cut it into two 12 pieces to install it in the boxes. The picture was taken in 2014 at the famous Korean Han-river.

My beloved Cyano`s featuring David Struber, Sebi Mueller and Ben Fischer. I learned the technic and the background behind Cyanotypie some years ago at University. Right now I`m looking back and be really happy to had combined University and Photography at that time.
