(ヤンデレ)—— “…” None of this made sense, not even to him, the boy was just a boy isn’t he? He assumed so with how he looked, the way he acted and everything else about him upon wondering whether or not if he should press further into the subject. He should perhaps, as much as he’s confused by this little revelation. “… he’s only a boy, a kid, he really that much of a black sheep that this is the fitting results?” His irritation began to make itself more prominent to a larger extent, anger is the one thing to not use against him. Never use his triggers against him. Amethyst hue settled once more on the sleeping figure, his silence was not a surprise with thoughts of someone being forced through hell this young making him sick to his stomach. This black sheep was thrust into the arms of misfortune, while he got off somewhat better with his own case. Damn it, he wanted to just… he almost wanted to start snapping at this rate; that would get him nowhere other than his own room there with a bullet put in his head most likely. Not worth that risk, he had more important things to do than die there over stupidity and rash decision making. Project Origins he never heard of either, then again this was nothing known to the public eye he supposed upon fixing his gaze to settle back on the scientist. For now he would listen, provoking a response won’t be of much use now anyways. Not unless he wanted to create problems.
"You see, Project Origins has another meaning, as well. But that one... It's only for the extremely high ups. I'm on one of the lower rankings, so it's classified to me. I wish I could explain further. We don't know where these powers are coming from, but we've labeled him a Psionic."
The blond, who had been sleeping, broke the small, terse silence after sitting up, noticing the apples, and taking a bite of the red fruit. The crunch resounded in the round room, his blue eyes staring at the two with confusion.
"Mama?"
The woman flinched lightly, not from hating being called that, but from a small flash of pain in her eyes for the boy's predicament.
"Yes, Alma?"
The boy's baby blues flicked toward Taito, a finger pointing.
"This man... He's strange, Mama. But he's nice."
She smiled, ruffling the blond locks of the child.
"If you say so, then it must be true, Alma. I'll be back. You may explore the facilities if you like, sir, but wherever you cannot enter... It's best to just not try. And if Alma asks you to stay, I recommend you do. For your safety."
The last three words were whispered for only Taito's ears, though Alma did catch on them. He chose not to comment.
"Bye bye Mama."
A childish hand waved, the boy reaching for another apple. Surely, with all the apples he'd consumed already, he'd be full. But, whatever. He was a kid, and at least it wasn't candies.
"What's your name, mister?"
Answer him.

Stare at the apple cores.

(ヤンデレ)—— Hashiruma Zoo? As important as the name sounded, he seemed to have trouble racking his grey matter for an answer to her question. Possibly while scanning over the contents of this room, the drawings were certainly… different than he expected of a child yet he did not voice his opinion there thankfully. “…” Still, he can’t really give her the response she may have wished to hear in this instance. “I… haven’t heard of it.” Or so he assumed, for all he knew he could have and forgotten it. Still, it made him feel… odd thinking of the name, it quieted down his raging monstrosity of a mind for a moment there. The black sheep seemed to be focused on the boy now, curiosity over taking him as if wondering whether or not if he would be fine with this. It involved him… right? His story, what may have dragged him there whenever he may not have done whatever it is intentionally. Like a caged animal, huh kid? Shit… He would listen, learn this because it needed to be heard by someone from what he figured of it. Sounded like he was as much of a black sheep as he is, but even that had it’s risks for him to make assumptions. He didn’t know him that well yet, growing attached won’t get him anywhere other than a coffin.
"Alright then..."
Taking a deep breath, she began.
"The boy's name is Alma Kagamine. His father, one of the company's most loyal employees, would often remark that his youngest child was strange."
Tapping a pen softly against her clipboard, the woman seemed nervous of the story itself moreso than being in the child's room.
"He appeared, according to his father, to be extremely intuitive. It wasn't until age three that we found out about his powers. He... Well, no one knows how, to this day, but Alma somehow managed to get inside the Bengal tiger cage. The zookeepers had been on their way to feed the animals, so they were hungry. They assumed Alma was a form of live food and subsequently pounced."
Looking troubled, she looked up at the ravenet.
"What happened next is still unexplainable, even with all the tests and examinations we've put him through. He... Started to sing. Out of everyone watching in horror, only the creatures attacking him began to back off, mewling in pain quite pathetically. Their fur and flesh peeled off, leaving behind a bloody mess..."
Shivering lightly, she looked up.
"Alma and his family was banned from the zoo and for two years, Alma's father received death threats and the like for his 'freak child', in the public's eyes. We finally decided to take Alma into this facility, Project Origins, and figure out the cause of these powers."
"But why? He's a child."
or
"It... Makes sense."
is loli a rating option since it pleases the loli
I’ll accept LOLI as a rating only this time, because it pleases the loli.
I'd give it a 90! I'm having fun so far and grumpy is too even though we're not that far into it just yet.
Aa, then hopefully, the immersion process is working smoothly! I’m trying to run this blog sort of like an interactive RPG Maker horror game, sans the freaky ass jumpscares you’ll find in games like Paranoiac and The Crooked Man and such. As long as I can work out the kinks of the blog and get it running correctly, with proper icons and such (and expand my vocabulary in order to describe some horrific “scenes” better), I leave this blog’s improvement on the storyline and the character development mainly up to the other RPer! So, my fate’s in your hands, one could say.
Rate My RP Skills...
0-25: It’s okay
26-50: It’s good
51-75: Great!
76-100: Awesome!!!!
(OOC: I really need to improve at this, so be honest. I can take it.)
{ Are We the Same? } | Encounter ; Taito Shion
(ヤンデレ)—— Yes, he was wanting answers, but at the same time it would be a mistake if he were to stand there now. One could tell his amethyst hue was slowly changing before he realized his demands won’t be of any use if he were to keep around the blood, the body of which was beginning to bring forth memories he preferred to not leave in the open. Of her at that. Goading, taunting his violence forth before moving himself to start leaving with the map in one hand and the boy held carefully in his appendages. Dropping him won’t get anywhere, it won’t help him either, if he was going to wind up becoming a guest off this little decision of his then fine; he would take that burden just as that scientist had decided upon. Let it happen, there isn’t much out there that would miss him and he doubted his presence would be that missed. He needed to hurry up though, that bloody scene weighing his mind down won’t be of use to anyone with answers and there is a large risk to keeping him around this. Someone could get hurt by the black sheep as much as they could that boy, but, perhaps he would hold enough control to keep himself together. One could hope upon pausing at the marked door at the end of the corridor, knob slowly twisted open with his free hand before maneuvering himself to enter with young boy in arms as best as he can.
The blond slept tranquilly, clutching the teddy bear gently to his chest. The woman soon came down the hallway, stepping into his room and closing the door. A small bowl of apples was placed next to the bed, so when Alma would wake, he would have a treat to both fill him up and keep him calm.
"We don't understand why, but apples calm him down immensely. Now... You want answers, I'm assuming?"
Unlike a normal room, Alma's room was round. A complete circle with no corners to hide in. Childish drawings of strange, disturbing mental images were pinned up on one curve of the wall, a curved bookshelf holding many child's books or child novels galore on another curve.
On yet another was a desk made specifically to curve with the wall, where paper and crayons lay in a messy, childish fashion. However, on most of the expanse of wall towards the door, it was replaced, halfway, by a giant glass wall. To monitor him, of course.
"Do you know of the strange day at the Hashiruma Zoo?"
"Yes."
or
"No."

(ヤンデレ)—— “…” Words weren’t relinquished from him at first,at least not at this point until he heard her about to speak again. The ravenette simply moved away from the woman, speaking all the while with amethyst hue focused upon the glass. “… why is there a child here?” He wondered as much, if she was going to speak of this being a private experiment again then he would gain his answers another way. He was confused on one hand given this seemed no place for a child, then again he might have given off a similar aura akin to the black sheep. The black sheep held in him a sort of… frightening mind set that could change upon mood just the same; from normal and irritated to going as far as to smash an imbeciles head into a wall for triggering him in some form or another. Maybe there could be a bit of irony here, one is a monster kept in the cage and the other was roaming freely. “… and don’t give me the classified bull shit or lie, I hate liars.” His single hue almost seemed to flash red a little to try proving such a point, putting a lie on the table would go wrong faster than when his brother triggered him. Better yet, what’s with the extra precautions they’re taking with a boy? Such a thing should be best off left unknown to him, but, perhaps not if he was growing this curious about what he just stepped into.
"I will take responsibility for telling you. But first, please bring him to his room. It's marked on the map I've handed you."
The boy was already placed in Taito's arms, seeming completely harmless. However, the scientists complaining of chest pains suddenly spasmed, blood flowing from his mouth before falling dead. Perhaps it was from those lingering pains...
However, his heart had been clenched tightly by Alma's mind, and there was no escaping such a fate.
"Please take him to his room. I will be there shortly to tell you."
Take him to his room.

[Ah, crap, I just noticed the links on there, sorry, thought they were underlined.]
That’s perfectly ok! For future reference and for future replies, each “choice” will be linked to a private post detailing the “end” of my response based on the muse choice. So, since you put the question of what a child was doing there, it’ll simply continue.Otherwise I would really have no reply to give, unless he would’ve snuck back into the facility. But it’s alright! Don’t apologise. This blog is supposed to be an immersion experience with tons of trial and error to happen in the beginning stages.I’m also writing a fanfic for the very beginning of Alma’s life and how Project L.E.N. started, but it won’t give away “spoilers” of this blog.

A hearing test. S i m p l e! Alma could deal with this, it wasn't an experiment. Given an apple for distraction, the child bit into it as they began to test his hearing and eyesight. The sense of smell and taste were functioning beautifully, as evident by his cheerful chewing of the red fruit.
The white flesh underneath was evident after a while, red skin peeling with his teeth the more and more he chewed at it. After eyes and ears came reflexes and small mental tests. Alma did like examination days, seeing as it was then free, in the afternoon, that he could play in the small, indoor playground they'd built for him.
"I'm sorry sir, but you'll have to leave. Project Origins is a private experimental facility."
A kind looking woman smiled delicately at the ravenet, trying to block his view of the blond in the glass windowed testing room. The apple was eaten, the child chewing at the white parts of the core. Soon, the apple core was removed and he was given yet another one, much to his delight. As long as he was in a happy mood, there would be no risk of losing a scientist today.
The woman went to repeat herself, but was cut off by the man before her.
"Why is there a child here?"
or
"What do you do here?"
{ Pink Can Equal Blood } | Encounter ; Sakura Miku
The clicking of heels halted as optics took in the vision of a child dashing off - Evidently hinting the fact to follow after him. Motherly instincts wouldn’t have allowed her to let the child run off all alone in such a ruined place - No one seemed around to even take care of the child..
Soon trotting after the child, heels sounding loudly in the noise void of a facility, the female soon came to the destination the child ended up. A smile crossed her lips once more at the request along with the childlike yawn erupting from him.
“ A lullaby? Sakura can try — But I can’t be certain it’ll be good! " A clearing of her throat, the straightening of her skirt and shirt and soon her mouth parted.
The itsy-bitsy spider Climbed up the water spout Down came the rain And washed the spider out Out came the sun And dried up all the rain And the itsy-bitsy spider Climbed up the spout again!
Listening to her silently, it didn't take long for cerulean eyes to slide shut, a pale hand gripping her's. Blood tinged the tips of his hair and his bangs, but he didn't seem to notice. The blood around his neck, despite no wound, was also strange.
"Stay... With me... Please..."
Lips parted ever so slightly after these words, his eyes shut completely. Grip on her hand lax, now, it was evidence that the child was already asleep.
Do you move to leave?
or
Do you stay?
{ Golden Ideal } | Encounter ; Rin Kagamine
"Hmmm, what's someone like you wandering around abandoned facilities for?"
Perhaps one of those childish dare pranks he'd seen on the small television he was allowed (before he had destroyed it, that was). Focusing his mind, he moved a piece of rubble out of her way, laying on the floor and playing with a puzzle, his torn up and quite creepy looking teddy bear sitting in a chair.
His eyes never bothered moving from the puzzle, so how he even knew she was there... Well, whatever.
"Yea, so what? You the police or something, kid?"
or
"I got lost..."
{ Dreams Mean Nothing to a Psionic } | Encounter ; Altair
A scientist lifted off the ground as he stared at them, eyes wide. Controlling him, he managed to make the male slam into the glass several times, blood splurting from his head until he fell, dead. Turning on the other scientists, they fled, looking for tranquilisers or other such things.
Instead, Alma saved them the trouble by going to his room, picking up the teddy and playing with it. The scientists decided to leave the door unlocked, adding an extra camera bot to watch him.
"I hate you daddy..."
A voice shook him from his thoughts.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
or
"My, you're an awful mess."
{ Birds of a Feather, Flock Together } | Encounter ; Das Octo and Aster Octo
A sound! Child's footsteps, two of them! Alma was in a very bad mood. A very b a d mood indeed. The scientists had reappeared, their corpses lining what could only be called the foyer to the lab.
Why must they come back? Leave him alone!
Collecting the bodies in a sack, some still dripping blood, he began to trudge down the hall, passing two children.
"It's just no good..."
What was no good?
Do you ask and get in his line of vision?
or
Do you stay silent and hidden?
{ Pink Can Equal Blood } | Encounter ; Sakura Miku
"Sleepy..."
The dripping, echoing sounds of water (or, perhaps, given the dismal, abandoned settings, blood?) sounded within the child's ears. How b o r i n g! Wasn't there a scientist to come? Or, perhaps, given the dismal state around him...
They were gone?
Humming cheerfully at such a notion, a dark scowl was given to the still working and still roving camera bots patrolling the area. After managing to slip past, the boy, clutching a teddy bear, ran into...
A young woman?
She was pretty, with long, pink hair, and beautiful eyes. Smiling cheerfully at her, he dashed off, waving for her to follow.
Do you follow?
or
Do you leave?
