YO GUYS before I upload other pics from Connecticon lemme tell you about Scott DeWitt.

So Scott is the creator of my most favorite webcomic of all time, Fanboys. It’s usually really hard for me to get into webcomics but I just loved Fanboys with all my heart. I loved the characters, the art, and of course, the witty writing. So, naturally, when I heard that Scott would be attending Connecticon I really wanted to see if I could go just to meet him. As luck would have it, I was able to (I even threw a costume together the night before!)! And let me tell you. Scott is such a lovely, lovely person. In addition to being so kind to an eccentric stranger (I was really excited to meet him and it showed, I worry that I might’ve been a bit much…), he drew me a really fantastic short comic that had me and my boyfriend laughing SO hard. I just think of it and I crack up! So great. Man.

I’m so grateful I was able to meet the man behind the comic that’s so close to my heart. I’m so grateful he was kind and a joy to be around. I was so surprised that he was drawing free requests! I had intended to buy something from him and get it signed but instead he drew something for me personally. That’s reallyreally special.

I’m just a bundle of joy right now okaydsfsds 

Thank you Scott. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll always love your work and will never forget this awesome meeting!
