i’m currently rewatching naruto [cause all i ever do is rewatch shows, yikes], and it truly baffles me how naruto truly had every single reason to crash out and become a villain, but never once did.
his parents quite literally were dead [minato and kushina ily] , the entirety of the village ostracized him because of entire “nine tail fox demon” being sealed inside of him — mind you, this happened when he was a BABY. so bro really had no say in the matter. he was neglected, belittled, looked down upon and just treated so poorly, etc etc
but not ONCE has that boy ever thought about betraying the village, not once had he never not shown up for the village, his friends and loved ones. like he always had a damn smile on his face, and was just looking towards the better things in life.
like yeah naruto irritates the shit out of me but pls i love him as a character sm
