What a nice breeze [closed | Ishimaru]
Ivan can never get used to this new setting. No matter how hard he tried, everything just seemed to spook him in one way or another. Things were chasing him, jumping out at him, and even the rooms in which nothing happened had him on his toes until the end. It truly was a hard knock life for the boy.
Even just now, he lost practically all of his energy running away from a scary mannequin in the other room, but luckily, he was able to lock the creature inside. He was sweaty and tired, not to mention incredibly upset at the crap he's gone through in the past few days (weeks? months?) he's been here. Falling on people, possibly giving others concussions, spilling drinks on them, running, crying, feeling sorry for himself, losing his starfish... It was too much for the poor boy to handle.
With his back on the door, locking the mannequin in the other room, he sighed and wiped his forehead. Ivan sat still, resting with his helmet full of starfish beside him as the only thing he could hear were his own breaths and quiet, terrifying groans from the other room. It's a shame the peace and semi-quiet didn't last long before something started to pound on the door, making disgusting noises from the other side.
The blond shot straight up, messily grabbing ahold of his helmet and immediately ran away from the door as he screamed bloody murder. It's amazing how his legs didn't seem to give away until he barely cleared 2/3 of the room, causing him to trip and fall while also dropping his hero helmet (again). Ivan instinctively reached out in front of him, but his hands had caught something along the way and he heard a ripping sound soon after.
As he landed face first onto the ground, his fingered curled against the material he now held. Strange... he doesn't remember having anything like this, and parts of the edges were jagged.......
The male slowly looked up, fearing what he would see next. Did he rip some canvas? The wallpaper? No, that didn't really feel like either of these things. When he was able to peer up, boy was he in for a surprise.
And what he held in his hands was.
