Deciding to spend your next week off in Hassetsu was one of your best idea so far. Your everyday life had been stressful and you were happy to be able to take some time for yourself by travelling abroad. From the moment you stepped on the grounds of the familiar airport your tense shoulders relaxed along with a deep sigh. The sound of hurried footsteps, Japanese dialects and overall stressful atmosphere that belonged to traveling was fully present as you pushed your trolley towards the exit. However you were completely undisturbed by the hectic surroundings, and couldn’t wait to meet up with the rest to spend the week together in peace and comfort.
Yuri had been waiting for your arrival so it didn’t surprise you to find him leisurely leaning against a wall on the side of an italian lunchroom, fingers tapping against the screen of his newly bought phone after he accidently dropped his last one in a pond while he was yelling at a bunch of geese a few weeks ago. Hilarious wasn’t even close to describing that situation, as you had received several videos from Victor as it happened.
“Oi, Plisetsky, long time no see.” You spoke up, quickly gaining his attention once you were in his line of sight. A bright smile invaded his usual stoic expression, and it didn’t even take 5 seconds before you were locked between his arms, a tight embrace after spending several weeks apart.
“___, I missed you. Especially you nagging me about my screwed up diet.” You snorted at his remark, the sound far from charming but being able to make the tall skater laugh. Yuri’s diet was worse than a teenager on their period, his favorite breakfast being anything covered in chocolate while his dinner was a bag of his favorite chips. You however, shared this trait with him, so you couldn’t really judge him for it.
The backpack was beginning to hurt your shoulders, so you dropped it to the ground with a loud thud for Yuri to carry, while you nodded towards the exit. Yuri rolled his eyes, but picked up the heavy backpack anyway, quickly following as you immediately bolted for the exit.
You were very eager to say at least, joining Yuuri and Victor in their hot spring, and you probably wouldn’t refuse a nice nap either. So with a curl of your finger you motioned Yuri to guide you to his rented car so he could drive you towards Yuuri’s home as fast as possible.
