My first ever band recommendation, some might not be the smallest band but I feel like they deserve more recognition, enjoy :)
1. I The Mighty - Brent’s voice is just beauty and they’re probably in the rock/alternative genre more than anything else but if you need a band that has really nice clean vocals this is the band to listen to. Similar band(s): Hands Like Houses
2. Sycamour - I found this band from another person’s recommendations and I loved them so much. They’re facebook says that their genre is “aggressive alternative” not sure if that’s a joke or not (because it also says ‘sex’ as a genre) but they’re definitely more hardcore than I The Mighty, so if you’re into that then you’ll love this band. Similar band(s): Issues, Set It Off, Memphis May Fire
3. Brighter Brightest - These guys are probably more pop-rock than anything, they also don’t have a whole lot of music out (pretty sure they only have one album to be honest..) but the music they make is amazing. I found them when I went to go see Ghost Town like 3 years ago and it was only the lead singer doing acoustic versions of songs. (((Side note, their best song, in my opinion, is Strike Gold but I can’t find it on youtube so look that up on iTunes it’s from their album Arrows))) Similar band(s): Chvrches, Arkells
4. Crystalyne - This is a female-fronted band and I love their music, I bought their album on a whim at warped and actually ended up liking it a lot. They’re pretty up-beat and pop/rockish. Similar Band(s): Paramore, Against The Current, Tonight Alive
5. Rocky Loves Emily - I don’t really know what’s going on with these guys mostly because I feel like they release some music then disappear for a while but the two newer songs that they released were really good and I’ve been a fan for a while. They’re kinda pop-punk. Similar Band(s): Mayday Parade
