June 21st 1996 Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame was released.
In my opinion this is arguably the most underappreciated Disney movie out there. This was one of the first Disney movies to have a direct message against prejudice and discrimination. It taught us that looks don’t make a person and that a man and a monster aren’t separated by appearance, and these messages are just as present even if Quais didn’t get the girl. Next month is this movie’s 20th anniversary. I believe that The Hunchback of Notre Dame deserves to be brought back because it’s messages are even more relevant in today’s society. If you agree with me then reblog and spread the word! #BringBackQuasimodo
