“Is there something that you wanted?” Clark didn’t even look up from his desk as his office door opened. Since Aspyn had broken up with him he’d spent most of his time at working, plowing through paperwork, training recruits and working out himself. It kept him busy and distracted, and his nights were either spent in his office or out.

“I can’t stay long anyway. Was only going to let you know that it is as it seems. Katerina isn't up to anything new,” Othello explained, shoulder leaning on the door frame. “Are you alright?”

“Relax, I was joking. You can smoke five at once if you’d like and it wouldn’t bother me. My sister says second-hand smoke is less aggressive when it comes from handsome people. It’s bullshit, but it makes us feel better.”

“I’ll take it if there’s a compliment in there. I know it’s a bad habit but It helps with stress.”

“A date. Something private and romantic if I can manage that. She’s seemed so stress lately with the new job, I was hoping to take her away from the city for just a bit. Without of course…threatening national security or anything.”

“Easy enough. This one client I had we used diversion cars. Pretty much identical vehicles but you have the decoy go off somewhere so people assume the person is there when you slip out a back way and get to your destination unnoticed. I can swing it with security if that’s what you want.”

“I would say that’s practically in my job description these days so sure. What do you have in mind?”

“So bodyguard, huh?” He scratched his head in thought. “For like celebrities or something? Or just the important people of this city?”

“Important people mostly. Politicians are the good majority of them, but I have helped a few government officials too. When I first started I got some uptight basketball player who thought he had fans stalking him when he had no fans to speak of.”

“Yeah it was.” He laughed. “Ah I see. Well anytime you come back in, be sure to pull me aside so we can spar or fight a bit. Have some fun, ya know.” Placing his hand out in front of him, he introduced himself. “Glenn Johnson.”

“Sounds like a plan to me. Could always use a change from the same old sparing partner.” Othello extended his hand to shake Glenn’s then, giving a nod. “Othello Barsetti. Good to meet you.”
