Been a follower for a while, but I gotta unfollow you for posting all that shit about 13rw. It romanticizes and glorified suicide, is an all around terrible show with incredibly stupid writing, and it’s just not what I wanted to see from your blog. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it was really disappointing to see that on a blog I’ve liked for such a long time. You really shouldn’t condone or support poor media like that.
Ok! You’re entitled to your opinion. Although, I didn’t post anything praising the show, I just made a couple posts, one was a joke about Hannah Baker reacting to the shit storm in the afterlife, and the other was about my opinion on who should/shouldn’t have been in a scene from a narrative perspective. You’re absolutely entitled to unfollow me or anyone you wish. In my opinion it is an overreaction to unfollow a blog (that you’ve liked for such a long time), simply because they made 2 posts about a show you don’t like, when neither post was even praising the show’s writing in anyway. Do you just unfollow someone anytime they post anything you don’t agree with? Obviously if someone posted something about supporting Trump or some shit like that I would agree with unfollowing them. But for something like this? I think that is very narrow minded and I don’t think you’re doing yourself any favours if you’re living your like that. I basically never come on here anymore so idk what Tumblr’s vibe is anymore. But don’t let tumblr convince you to have such a low tolerance of other’s opinions. Obviously there are opinions that shouldn’t be tolerated! But I don’t think someone watching a netflix show and making 2 posts about it should be seen as so outrageous to the point you refuse to associate with them anymore. that kind of mentality may get you brownie points here but trust me in the real world that’s now how you wanna be. I’m lowkey tempted to delete all of this and just write “welcome to your tape, anon” but i won’t lmao
