Writing Masterlist
Y'know, I've written a lot of shit. Here's what it is and where you can find it. It's a long-ass list, so I'll save you scrolling and put it under the read-more.
UNDERTALE -
LOVE? IT'S COMPLICATED Series
Love? I Think Not. - COMPLETE
Things are finally, FINALLY going right for you.
You have a great foster family, made up of good honest people who actually care about you (the fact they're a different race from you is only a problem to the kind of people whose opinion you don't care about anyway).
You make pretty good money at your job as a chef (even if the only reason you have that job is because the actual chef is so unreliable that the wait staff had to step up to fill the orders).
You have great fun at your side gig singing in your friends band (ignoring the fact you're going to split up when you all go to different colleges...).
And college! You got a scholarship to your first choice school, and are already building a good reputation with your future professors as you get a head start on your first year work (even if your choice of subject makes people look at you funny).
Yes, after everything you've been through, things are finally going your way.
So of course something has to come along and ruin it.
A certain red-eyed skeleton who thinks they're in love with you? That'd do it.
You can keep you eye out for trouble, but trouble's had his eye on you for much, much longer.
Love? For Real? - COMPLETE
It's been a few years since you narrowly escaped the clutches of the Fell brothers and left home to start a new life with your friends, Axe and Sugar. After everything that happened, you've sworn off love, and anyone who's shown interest in you has only aroused your suspicion. Putting that aside, things have been pretty good - you have a steady job at Grillby's, the farm you live on brings in a little extra money, and Sugar has found his calling restoring or up-cycling furniture. You're financially and emotionally stable, can't even remember the last time you were in any danger, and have a great relationship with your beloved skeletons housemates. Yup, life is pretty good - you couldn't want for anything else! Or so you think, until Sugar's shameless flirt of a boss makes you realise something you wish you hadn't. Something which may just destroy this happy home of yours for good. Love? Oh God, not again...
This work is a sequel to Love? I Think Not, and it's highly recommended that you read that one first!
Thoughtless and Reckless - COMPLETE?
Stretch loves his little brother, he really does. In fact, he's probably one of the coolest people the skeleton knows, bar none. Even if he can be a little... thoughtless. Like the time he got lost chasing a cat. Or the time he got even more lost chasing a flock of birds on his bike. Or the time he broke his arm trying to do a handstand. On the roof.
Recently, his brother has made a new friend - a bizarre human who has, rather worryingly, earned themselves the moniker of 'Reckless' due to their extreme sport loving lifestyle, which includes jumping out of planes and off waterfalls, and driving irresponsibly fast on dirt roads in bear-infested woods.
Stretch thought he worried about his brother before, but when thoughtless and reckless get mixed together, he realises his worries (and headaches) have only just begun.
This work is set in the same universe as the rest of the Love? It's Complicated series, but it's not necessary to have read those in order to understand this, as it's a standalone work.
The Burning Mountain - COMPLETE
Every magician knows the tale of the burning mountain - when humanity started purging magic from the Earth, they sealed 'monsters' under a mountain before turning on their own magicians, leading to the worlds current miserable state of affairs. Hunted and murdered without a thought - that's still the fate that await's magicians like you when found. It's not even worth it, as the so-called magic of humanity is next to useless.
None of it is right. None of it is fair.
Just when you think you have this rotten world figured out, the carpet is pulled out from under you - the monsters are back. Actual, literal monsters, of all shapes and sizes, walking and talking and doing magic like it's nothing. But that's not even the weird part.
The weird part is, no-one even seems to remember they were gone. Country borders, history books, entire social institutions have changed, and there's no-one left who remembers the way it was before, except for you and a fringe group who refer to themselves as 'recallers', determined to restore the world to how it 'should' be.
As you get to know the monsters around you, though, you have to wonder - is putting things back the way they were really the right thing to do?
K.I.S.S - Keep It Simple, Stupid! - COMPLETE
It's been two months since your grandmother died, leaving you the large family home. Unfortunately, the lack of a stair lift limits you to the ground floor - the story of your life, stuck in this wheelchair - necessitating you to take in a couple of lodgers to keep the old place in one piece. Not everyone in the family was happy to be written out of her will, however, and they aren't going to take the snub lying down.
Papyrus of the Swapfell clan loves his little brother - he's sacrificed his entire life to keep him safe and fed, even to his own detriment. Now that things have calmed down, the true weight of past traumas are catching up with him. A change of pace, a new place to live, and new friends could be exactly what he needs to help him rebuild.
Sans of the Swapfell clan loves his older brother. Loves him in a way he knows a brother shouldn't. He's trying not to, but it's not as easy as all that. He's thrown himself into his work, hoping that long hours at the office will distract him from the problem, or at least help him meet someone he can transfer his affections to.
You all have problems, but you might just be able to find the solutions together.
The Love Boat - A K.I.S.S Side Story - INCOMPLETE
You are Cassandra Knife, bestselling author, forced to take a holiday against her will. He is Captain Gaster, cruise liner captain who wants nothing to do with dry land and has no interest being the 'exciting holiday fling' to any aggravating passengers, thank you very much.
Together, you are... not about to take any of this very seriously.
Steamy holiday romance incoming? Not if you can help it!
Half Your Age Plus Seven - COMPLETE
Your life was pretty regular until a tragic accident left you the sole carer for three kids. You can't betray your family by putting them in care, so you do the only thing you can - drop out of school, put your music career on hold, and get a job. There's no point in complaining when your mind is made up, but damn, were you not expecting being a single parent to be this hard...
Wine is a rich man, and being a landlord is pretty easy most of the time. Despite the reputation of Fell monsters, he's not a complete bastard - taking pity on a young human in a difficult situation, he reduces the rent of one of his properties to make things a little easier for them. He can't help but keep an eye on them, just to make sure they're doing okay, have enough food in the house, that kind of thing. He's just a nice guy... right?
Mettaton loves three things: money, himself, and music. He's not a bad boss - happy workers work harder! - but he doesn't think much about the workers at his luxury hotel, other than the occasional 'attaboy'. When he catches the new hire tickling the ivories of his new piano, however, he might just find himself adding another item to that short list.
Two Short Stories From the Edge of the World - COMPLETE
The resets have stopped, and Red and Wing have been punished for their crimes, but questions still remain.
One of those questions being - how on earth did Edge and Kei get together?
(Usually I try to make sure works stand on their own without reading the rest of the series, but I can't say that this time. Please read The Burning Mountain and Love? I Think Not for the full context!)
Christmas? I Think Not - COMPLETE
Your friends Axe and Sugar invite you to spent Gyftmas with them and their cousins in an idyllic mountain retreat. Hijinks ensue.
A fluffy little 'what if' story based in the Love? It's Complicated series.
Love? But What If...? - COMPLETE
What if Edge had been the one to fall in love instead of Red? What would have happened if Sugar hadn't come to the rescue on the wedding day? What if Axe and Sugar had been a bit more competitive with their affections? What if Rus' attentions hadn't been quite so platonic? What if BB wasn't happy just being friends with Reckless?
A series of 'what if?' scenario's set in the Love? It's Complicated series. All completely 'non canon', so while reading the originals is highly recommended, it's not completely necessary.
Got a 'what if?' that's been keeping you awake at night? Submit it in the comments!
Welcome to Bitty Club! - INCOMPLETE
You're the new kid in school!
It's not all bad, though, as you quickly discover your new school has a Bitty Club! Two of them, in fact! You pick the Skeleton Bitty Club, for obvious reasons, and are soon taken under the wing of your eccentric new clubmates and their adorable skeletons!
Will your boys, Red and Edge, be able to get along with the other bitties? Can you find more things in common with your new friends? Who's The Weird Homeschool Kid they keep talking about, and why does no-one use their real names?!
Welcome to Ebbott Middle School, new kid - it's gonna get weird.
A LITTLE BIT(TY) OF... Series
A Little Bit(ty) of Trouble - COMPLETE
You could never admit to wanting a bitty - cute as they are, you don't believe living creatures should be used as fashion accessories. One day, you get a letter informing you some stolen property had been recovered, and what should it be but the bitty you forgot you had, stolen from you when you were a child in the hospital! Red is more than ready to come home, to leave behind years of enslavement in the black market bitty fighting arenas and be with the human kid he's been pining for all this time. Ten years is a long time, though. You've both changed, and not necessarily for the best. Getting to know each other again, getting ready for university, and growing your relationship as adults is going to be a challenge, especially since the red-eyed skel is just as stubborn as you are. The worst part about bitties, though? You can never stop at one...
A Little Bit(ty) of Life - INCOMPLETE
A series of one-shots, unanswered questions and untapped scenario's from A Little Bit(ty) of Trouble. May not be necessary to have read the main work, but doing so will provide context.
STANDALONE
COLD BLOOD, WARM HEART - COMPLETE
You're a cleaner in a zoo, and it's pretty solid work most of the time: exercise, cute animals, and no paperwork - what's to complain about?
Until one particular shift, when a meeting with a random crazy lands you (literally) in front of the zoo's largest and most dangerous snakes - the Lamia's. By happenstance, circumstance, and just plain bad luck, you get more and more wrapped up with these mysterious animals and their welfare. Who even knows why they like you so much?
But the lamia's are indeed mysterious, and the more you get to know Blue, Skull and Red, the more you have to wonder how sentient (and angry) they really are...
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S -
Three Steps to Obsession - COMPLETE
At the age of seventeen, you get a summer job at the mega pizzaplex and make a very odd friend.
The year after, you go back to find things have changed, both for better and much, much worse.
When the past comes back for you years later, you might just wish you had left that thing in the ashes.
An Introvert Meets the Devil at the End of the World - ONGOING
It's the end of the world. Literally. It's a fluke of luck that you're alive at the end, wandering aimlessly through the ruins of humanity.
It was a split-second decision to take the robot with you. You were just so tired of being alone, and Moon seemed pretty calm and low-energy. He failed to mention he was part of a pair. He failed to mention his other half was the devil himself.
They failed to mention their plan to find all the robots that had left megaplex before them.
You aren't sure if you'll ever find a safe place to live at the end of the world, but you sure won't be alone when you get there.
*Addendum: since there seem to be some confusion, this is not a theological AU. God's and devil's do not actually appear in this work*
LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD -
The Others - ONGOING
'Gremlin' is the insult most commonly thrown at you by the Elite Gamers (TM), so when you're partnered up with a 'fake gamer girl' and a 'hikikomori' (whatever that means) for a VR tech demonstration, you're more than happy to leave them all behind and explore the Akkala region of Hyrule at your own pace.
The fun doesn't last long, however, when the players find themselves unable to log out and return to the real world. The dangers of Hyrule - monsters, guardians, the harsh weather and even starvation - suddenly become very real, and with no Link in sight you and your new teammates are reliant on each other to survive.
Not all of the trapped players are taking the wise road, and as the NPC's start closing off their villages to the dangerous 'round-eared' Hylians, the battle for survival only intensifies. Questions plague you on your journey - how did this happen? Where is safe? Will you ever see your family again? Who or what is 'CG', and what are they trying to prove?
The battle for your very life awaits, player. Start game?
GRAVITY FALLS
It Isn't, Though, Is It? - ONGOING (I promise...)
It was just a job.
You had never heard of Bill Cipher, the Axolotl, or Gravity Falls before a few days ago, but for the next three months they were going to be your whole world. You were the best person to watch him during his outpatient therapy, both as health worker and jailer, and the pay was something you couldn't say no to.
The more you learn about weirdmageddon, the further you see its scars on Gravity Falls, and particularly on the Pines family, who are more than graciously allowing you to stay in their back yard. Bill is hardly the best patient, refusing to take anything seriously or see the error of his ways.
You only have three months to make any kind of impact on him and the Pines family before your contract with the Axolotl ends, but as the twins and the triangle start getting more and more under your skin, they might be the ones leaving the impact.
