Elder Dragon Vlast for my Gw2 AU. Designed/art by @achromant ! @commander-rox had the idea of Vlast being a Chromatic dragon, to be the opposite side of a coin to Aurene's prismatic magic. I think it was really clever. [SIDENOTE: Achromant I accidentally said desaturated when i meant satured... but it was an easy fix in my art program so dont worry abt it LOL]

Actually I wanted to draw him since I saw him in one VSArtparty, because I love his color scheme, but since my VSArtparty art are usually monochrome sketches he finally didn't make it. But artfight gave me the perfect excuse to draw him and I'm very happy with the results (specially his eyes!)

Things the Commander has canonically eaten, ranked

1-Tasty meat, Blazeridge steeps.        Self explanatory. It’s good meat!! Good enough to give you magic. Eat this. Please eat this.

2- Fragrant Cactus fruit, Silverwastes        It’s fruit I guess. I know what good meat tastes like but I don’t know what prickly pear tastes like so. It says in the description it smells good, so that’s promising.

3- Raven Tonic, Snowden Drifts        It’s booze with a neat party trick, turns you into a Raven! How fun is that! However it is ale that turns you into a raven, so it can’t be higher than actual food.

4- Morgan’s Orchid, Caledon Forest        All of the descriptions surrounding this say that eating it is a transcendent experience. But also that’s a flower that you just ate. Why did you eat a flower. What the fuck.

5- Skrittsburgh Special, Brisban Wildlands        This is some kind of booze. It’s apparently rancid smelling and has some fur in it, and it was made by Skritt. That alone should clue you in to how I feel about everything else on this list, since this is “edible.” It’s described as a “thick hearty beverage.” and really seems like more of an acquired taste, as long as you are a weird goblin rat. The reason it’s this high, is until after you drink it, it’s descriptions are neutral. The Commander needs to be stopped.

Taryn Veil, one of my sylvari ocs! more undercut

okay not a lot to say so far, but Taryn Veil currently works as a courier for the lion arch or something. hence the bag and raptor! He's pretty much a noncombatant, and mainly relies on his raptor to carry him out of danger, or defend him if the need arises

before lion arch, he lived on his own, until he was kidnapped by krait slavers, the next several months broke him mentally and physically, until finally he was rescued by lion guard soldiers, who were currently looking for recruits

deeply affected by his most recent events, taryn quickly accepted, wanting to reestablish his place in the world, and hoping that a job would distract his mind from other things. surprisingly enough, the travel that came with delivering messages or packages from very therapeutic.

he definitely still has a lot he hasnt unpacked, but who has time for therapy? in this economy? XP
