I have to say I love your Twilight animation I wanna get into animation yet I don't have the money nor proper equipment too, any tips on small first timing animators? You have to do more of those pwease senpai ~;-;~

without the equipment, it’s pretty hard! you could improvise and trying doing some traditional animation on a pad of post-it notes :()

Hey there, im sure you get this question alot but, what do you use to animate? Ive been wanting to get into animation as well, but not sure how to go about it. You make great work, keep it up :)

hey! Always glad to hear someone interested in animation (I highly recommend it to everyone, even if they’re just starting out, because it accelerates the understanding of form, and cuz there aren’t enough animators)

I’m using Clip Studio Paint EX, which is the more expensive version, boasting no limit on the number of frames you may include in your animations.

The cheaper alternative is Clip Studio Paint PRO which has a fairly arbitrary limit of 24 frames per timeline (? I could be wrong).

Ok but really that animation is like the best one I've every seen. What program did you use? How long did it take? I NEED TO KNOW!

sup mangI started this animation in photoshop cs6 I believe (because that was what I was animating with at the time) and then I saw the light and transferred it over to Clip Studio Paint where I did the rest of the work

it took somewhere between 90-120 hours! (I learned a lot about workflow since starting this animation so I could probably produce the same thing quicker now)

I’ll read every request, but whether or not I do it is dependent on how much I like it. 99.9% of the time it’s probably gonna be a no! However, the Gilda drawing was a request!

I was wondering. Are you ever going to finish that Dusk and Barb animation you showed off about a year ago? I would love to see a finished version of that.

hey! yeah I’m planning on going back and finishing off a bunch of the stuff i teased before now that I’m a bit more familiar with the Clip Studio Paint animation workflow (and because I have a lot more free time atm)
