Didi, you went to redeemer co-op today for the first time this year. You were so excited to go- very different than last year when you were scared and didn’t want us to leave. Momma was so proud of you- going in easily and then obeying well and using your words. Momma is proud of you! Miss Clara is your teacher and she is wonderfully kind. I’m happy that you get a good teacher to share with you how great our God is.

9/14/15 Much time has passed. On July 9, we moved to our new apt at 530 west 45 street. Between 10-11 avenues. We've enjoyed exploring the new neighborhood and on Sept 9, Sophia started kindergarten at her new school, midtown west ps 212. SP was super excited to start but due to the difference of school, teacher and kindergarten being less fun than preK, SP wasn't super loving the school. Thankfully with each day, baobao seems to enjoy it more and is adjusting to this much larger school. Momma has been prayng and will continue to pray for a wonderful year of learning and thriving and enjoyment. Thankful that God has provided a great school for baobao. This school year, didi will be going again to co-op and BSF. We haven't gotten anything else for you Buddy but you'll get to spend and enjoy time with momma which is kind of the best thing anyways. :) The photos above are 1. Us making waffles. We all enjoyed that so much. The time spent together and then the eating afterwards. :) 2. The Seaglass Carousel in battery park. So magical and fun. It's supposed to be an underwater experience. We sat on lovely fish and spun around with lights, etc. 3. Today we went to a new playground in the hudson yards (35 street and 10-11 ave). It consisted of a fun climbing dome and big water fountains. We went with Jess aiyi... It's nice to spend time with others. Momma was thankful for the time too. Time together builds community. 5/2/15 Jiejie, you had a wonderful birthday party at a nearby playground. School friends, church friends and even your beloved Mrs. ally and Ms. jennifer came by to spend time and play with you. You are much loved. In two days you're turning 5! We love you deeply.

4/16/15

Today Baba left super early to fly to Atlanta for work. He won’t see you guys all day which is sad for him and sad for you both. SP scooted to school and then Emmett wanted to play in the dirt outside of jiejie’s school. So we stayed a little while.

Then we got coffee on the way home and gathered some things and went to the playground. The weather has finally gotten nice and we can play outdoors more. Thankful for that!!!

4/11/15 We had lots of fun this week. Meeting up with friends, meeting and holding baby Seth, drawing and jumping hopscotch, scooting, making robot Ray for the school family involvement project, painting and playgrounds. What fun! Momma loved having you home. You said you had fun too but you're also quite excited that on Monday you get to see Mrs. Ally and Miss Jennifer and all your friends. :) I'm glad you love school so much!

4/6/15 Today is the second day of BaoBao's spring break and we went to the playground w the big marble slide and also the Central Park zoo w auntie Sylvia, Kristof and Martin. It was fun to spend time w each other and also friends. Thankful for the lovely weather. Sophia scootered all the way to the playground and Emmett brought his little stroller that he loves. Too cute and funny you kids are. You guys love climbing things so even at the zoo, you were climbing the bald eagle concrete statue. Thankful for you two. Especially when you guys play together. I love that. Love you both. Forever and ever. Love momma.

2/12/15 We found out today that our baby meimei died. Momma was 21 weeks. We are all sad but we know God loves us and has a wonderful plan for us. Momma and Baba are reminded of what a miracle and blessing BaoBao and didi are and also of how thankful we are for you two and our whole family. Momma was very sad to have to tell BaoBao what happened because BaoBao already loved her baby sister so much- you were always talking to her and kissing Momma's tummy. I know BaoBao wants another baby sister (or brother) and we will see where God takes our family. We love you both so much.

Baobao and Momma went with Didi to Sokol this morning and then to his first professional haircut. Momma cuts lots of diff hair but a boy cut I did not know how to do. Thankfully didi enjoyed the Frozen movie and the lollipop and let the lady cut his hair. Victory! And now Momma has learned some layering tricks for the next haircut. Baobao was such a wonderful helper at Sokol and also listened so well during Emmett's haircut. Of course the movie and lollipop were big helpers. Def a good time to watch tv and have a sweet!

Mama and Baba were both sick last weekend, but Baobao and Didi took good care of each other. So nice to hear sweet laughter, talking and the sound of feet pitter-pattering about.

9/9/14 SP is loving school. Momma is so happy to know that. Today is SP's first FULL day. It's weird to not have you with me 24/7 but I know your running ard w your friends and also learning a lot from the teacher. Oh my loves. Didi and I went to the first day of BSF today. It's nice to be back in a routine. Oh! Time to go pick up big sis. Love you both!

9/4/14 Today was your first day of school. You were so excited. Momma was so proud of you and also felt so bittersweet. Momma cried last night when I packed your bag for school. We spent every day all day for the past 4+ years together so it will be a big change for Momma. Momma and didi will miss you a lot. At lunch you said you wanted to be at school longer. (Today you were there for only an hour.) Momma was so happy to hear that because I know you are growing and enjoying this moment. Momma prays you will grow and learn and thrive at school this year. Momma knows your heart and Momma prays you will make some good friends. Momma loves you so much. My first baby has started school.

Baba got to spend the whole day with Bao Bao and Didi since Mama was celebrating Grace aiyi's birthday. Baba really enjoyed the bonding time with the precious little tikes. We went to the Central Park Zoo, Billy Johnson playground, and church, and even got caught in a thunderstorm!

8/8/14-8/13/14 YI surprised us w a visit for mommy's birthday! :) momma was super happy as was SP. Didi was excitedly weary at first but warmed up. Momma and SP loved having YI nearby. We went to governors island, went to the spa, saw SP and didi in swim class, SP went w YI to FAO for special alone time, YI came to the zoo w us, and also to Victorian gardens. We did a lot of fun stuff while Yi was here. Momma misses YI. I know SP missed YI too. YI loves us both a ton.

A hair-raising experience. Bath time is fun in our home. Bao Bao likes to bathe herself, and Didi likes to pour water. Mama and Baba get wet a lot, but tis ok.

7/12/14 What a fun beach day we had. The water and sand are so much fun. I love that both SP and didi also enjoyed the adventure. As did baba and mama, of course. I think the beach is one of my most favorite places. Possibly beside we rarely get to go but still. In the first photo, baobao and baba are having a little chat before heading into the station at Long Beach. Whatever you two were talking abt, it seemed quite in depth abt the water, land and boats in front of you. SP, you are expressing yourself more and more and more. We love you sweet girl! In the last photo, you can see that Emmett completely face planted in the sand and everything is covered w sand. You can also see that he isn't really upset at all. Didi, you make me laugh. I love you bubba.

6/22/14 "Look mommy! There's a bug in my lettuce!" I took it out and put it in the white small holder. Then you started talking to it saying, "I don't like bugs but you're a baby bug so you're ok." When you finished your salad, we went outside to set the bug free and let him find his mommy, baba and friends. You are so thoughtful and sweet in heart. I pray you keep that always and learn how to love others w that heart. Love you, Momma
