When Uwell released his first tank in 2015, whole vaping community rated it as one of best clearomizer tanks for clouds.  

Uwell company have a big pressure to release second Crown tank, they tested it a few year. And finally released it on 2016 june.

I like the first one crown tank it has very easy top-fill system. New tank version have better design than the first one. This has 3 triple o-rings system, screwed cap to avoid leaking and very comfortable air in system.

The second version, have two clockwise holes refill system, it’s more comfortable than the first crown version and you have no leaking through the air holes.  

The second version rings has safety detents, which can be fully closed or opened.  First crown have 510 drip tip which you can be removed. The second crown has drip tip cap lock with screws, and they don’t let you lost your cap that’s a big plus for Uwell. This screw hold all tank parts: base, glass section and threaded top. So when you refilling your vape juice it doesn’t leak or go to down base so, this screw solves all the Crown one leaking problems.

Uwell crown 2 coils was remade and they don’t fit to Original Uwell. So you need to buy new version coils for the newest Crown. The first one’s coils you can rebuild at home, with the newest version I can’t guarantee you that. I tried new coils and they’re lasting long as the original Crown.

The vapor production of Crown 2 has been durable, with new coils you can make more production of vapor and go with less watts, The original crown you should go above 90 w to make a lot of vapor , with the new version you can go with 50w- 40 w , and you got a lot of vapor. The flavor section is going down, with new coils. But Uwell promise to release new coils which has the best e-juice flavors with vapor.

If you have the Original Crown in your place I don’t buy the new one, except if you want to try new Rba coil base which is released to vertical coil system.
