It’s been a while

Hi everyone! Since the last time I’ve blogged, New Hope Club has gotten considerably bigger, tumblr has died a little bit, and I’ve graduated high school! I haven’t been as big in the fandom as I once was, mostly because I got busy with school and extracurriculars. This is all to say that I still love the boys and am so proud of how far they’ve gotten. As this pandemic continues to hurt the world, I just wanted to put some positivity out into the world and remind y’all that there is so much love and hope in the world even when it seems like there is none. We’ll get through this, and if you ever get discouraged, let the voices of Reece Bibby, George Smith, and Blake Richardson cheer you up. Love y’all and I hope you’re all staying safe.

as a lot of you guys may know, i live in north carolina and there is new news that nhc is touring with sabrina carpenter this summer AND THEYRE COMING HERE TO NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!! my friend mckenna and i run a twitter (in case you didn't know) which is @ ourhopeclub and i would really appreciate it if you guys got nhc to follow us before the show. it would mean the absolute world to me and kenna. we are the first two fans of them in NC (as far as i know) and it would mean so so so much if we got followed by them. we're not rlly active though so idk BUT HOLY FUCK IM GOING TO SEE NEW HOPE CLUB

words can't express how proud I am of new hope club for making it this big in such a short amount of time. I love them and will always love them, even if I'm not very active (guys school is tough). Just sit down for a while and imagine George teaching you to play guitar. Like he would be learning to play some new song and you would be watching him all the time. He would look up from his work and smile at you from time to time. „Can I try it?“ you’d ask. His face would immediately light up and he’d nod. He would sit his guitar on your lap and gently place you fingers to the right places. You would try to play but kinda fail and he’d go all giggly and smily. „Oh,“ he’d say nervously, „not like that.“ And then he would pat his thighs for you to sit on them, so you’d do that and he’d once again try to place your hands the right way. But like come on, it’s George, he wouldn’t  keep his hands and especially his lips to himself. He’d take your hair to one side and start to kiss your neck, continue over the place where you neck meets your shoulder and then go all over you shoulder. You’d stop playing, close your eyes and just enjoy the whole moment. He would stop kissing you and look at you with a small smile. „I’m just gonna leave all these music things on you, you’re way better,“ you’d giggle and place the guitar beside you so you could intertwine your fingers with his and he would smile even wider. „You’re doing great,“ he’d mumble to your temple before kissing it. God I want George to teach me how to play guitar like this.

this post is kinda funny

so if you guys don't already know from my Twitter {@ OurHopeClub} I'm volunteering as a councilor at my church's VBS. as you all know, nhc posted "girls talk boys" by 5sos https://youtu.be/rVDhbRKVhyg <-- that should be the link so I was taking a little break while the kiddos were in the middle of a service and I get a notif from YouTube "NEW HOPE CLUB POSTED A NEW VIDEO: GIRLS TALK BOYS" and I silently start screaming and jumping and my church friend is v worried but then I watched the video with her and almost cried bc it was beautiful and i almost cried in front of my kiddos and it was v emotional so thanks new hope club & 5sos. preciate it. -shan

GUYS IM PISSED

so as you all probably know, new hope club are in America. more specifically in LA. so if you're not familiar with US geography, LA is in California. California is on the far west side of the United States. do you know where I live? Greensboro, North Carolina. North Carolina is on the Far East side of the United States. it takes approx 3 days to drive to California and about 12 hours to fly there. you may or may not know this, but just last month, I was in California visiting my family. *deep breath* and as you may or may not know, new hope club is shooting a music video with fans in California. I WANT TO SCREAM OH MY GOD NDDKDKWJBDSKDNJDAOHDJSOAJSNSVSCIOALSDJLAPAHDIAPAMDBDOSEK GUYS IM SO F'ING PISSED AT THE FUZZ BALLS OF LOVE HELP I CANT EVEN HDSNKSJDOSJS
