I didn't think about it until reading this one Bangel fanfic that pointed it out... but "Chosen" probably is the first hint that Buffy's really gotten that Angel still wants to be with her since Graduation Part 2. And that must have made her happy. Because I know how much her thinking he didn't care had hurt her. That might even be why she gives him the "Sometimes I DO think that far ahead (about my future, and who I see it with) line." Where she's of course saying she still sees a future with him.
