Biking around 한강 (Han River)

So 2 weeks ago I went biking around 한강 aka the Han river at 여의도 and it was absolutely brilliant! I haven't been on a bike in over 5 years so it was a lot of fun to be able to ride about somewhere so lovely! 

This is one of the many areas in 여의도 that you can rent the bikes! It's 1000 won for an hour and then you can choose to renew for another hour or return in before the hour is up. Myself and my friends rented the bikes for I think about 3 and a half hours to ride around the river and the park just down the road!

The park that we rode around, It was manic! There were so many people but that was kinda expected given how top the weather was that day!

The delicious home made picnic we had! My friends 혁준씨 and 지수씨 are amazing cooks!!!

Overall it was such an amazing day I really want to go again!! Well i'll update with photos from the baseball game between 삼성 and 두산 that I went to the day before :)

The thing about Korea....

Hey everyone!  So I've been in Korea about 2 and a half months now and I still sit here wondering where that time went but I digress. While living in Korea I've noticed a few things, mostly one major thing.

BUYING PANTS IS FUCKING HARD!!!!

No seriously, back in Australia I wear a size 10 but over here, good luck finding pants that fit you! Especially if you are gifted with larger hips. If you do magically find pants that do fit you then be prepared to feel absolutely horrible because it will likely be listed a size L even if back home you wear a S or even XS. 

I think Korea should have a massive sign that say's Welcome to Korea, if you weren't self conscious you sure will be soon!!! 

Don't get me wrong, Korea is full of wonderous things including amazing makeup and skin care, beautiful scenery and just in general lovely people this just so happens to be the dark side of the moon. (high five for Mulan reference anyone?) However this is not to say it is impossible to buy pants, it's definitely possible, you just have to look a bit harder. And always remember, regardless of what the tag says You are perfect!

On a different note, it's getting closer and closer until D-Day when I return home, *sadface* I've made so many amazing friends over here that i'm going to be sad to say goodbye to however i'll cross that bridge when I come to it. :)

Yonsei is gorgeous!

Honestly, It is one of the most beautiful University campus' I have set foot on.

I mean really! How could you say no to this place!

And this is the path I walk every Monday and Wednesday to my Tolkien Literature class, isn't it pretty!!

Due to the fact that the weather is finally starting to warm up, all the flowers are finally out! Alas the Cherry blossoms didn't last very long and were gone completely within about 2 weeks! so sad! 

All my friends that I've made over here knew it was warming up outside when the other day I went to class without a jacket and they were honestly shocked! The girl from the land down under, outside without a jacket! Incomprehensible! It was truly funny.
