We have some pretty big updates.

We haven’t been on in a bit. But I do have updates on whats going on in our life. We got got married October 7th and moved into our first place together the same day. If you follow me on Snapchat or Instagram you probably already know that. But I haven’t been able to have access to this account in what feels like ages. I would love to hear how you all are doing and catch up.

Back story. We got engaged in January. He proposed at a beautiful park we spent a great deal of time at when we were long distance and too broke to do very much. It has a lovely white gazebo and we stood in there when he got on one knee. We actually got married in that very same gazebo. On our wedding day we had many problems come up. But it was the perfect day because I was finally marrying the love of my life!!

We moved in to a duplex the night of our wedding. It’s as crazy as it sounds. We didn’t plan it that way at all. We actually had a rental house we were supposed to be into much the before but they backed out on us. So months before the wedding we ran around trying to find a place that would not only work for us but our pets as well.

Justin actually moved here (Missouri) from Utah a few years back. I still lived with my parents but I was lucky enough they let him stay in a camper on their farm. So this is the first time we have actually live together. The first time it feels real to see him daily. And that we closed the distance. I do feel like being in a Ldr has changed me, for the better. It makes me appreciate him so much more, and all the small things like cooking together, sleeping in the same bed, telling each other about our days, and always have open and loving arms to come home to.

Our lives have changed so much since we started using this account. What felt like a hopeless situation has brought us so much happiness. I know it’s easier said than done, but always hang on to hope. Things may feel very hopeless in your relationship. If you love each other and both put in hard work and time it can be possible to not only beat the distance but live a truly happy life together.

I’ll always feel like we are a “ldr” couple. We just have made it through the heart break and tears and got what we always hoped and prayed for. What we everyone in a ldr is wanting. To just be together.
