There’s a part in chapter 60 of Conviction, “Had he invited her to stay, she could perhaps finally hang pictures, open the shutters...” that I just adore. I love the idea of Violet making the house her own. Also I think Violet’s “decorating” (read: inventions everywhere, blueprints on the walls, etc.) would be the bane of Olaf’s existence for a while.
