This house was rocking late last night when our team won the seventh game to move onto the second round. More late nights to come.
The first jam session is just around the corner. This year I’ll be canning the first batch before the lilacs have bloomed. It must be spring.
For me and mine, everyday is earth day. It should be for you as well. Happy Earth Day everyone.
This is a sad time for those of my generation, the music, the poet, the rebel, the genius, the legend lost in the Purple Rain. RIP never to be forgotten.
What’s for dinner?
Savory Meatballs in Beef Mushroom Gravy
2 lbs. ground beef
1 medium onion (minced)
1 egg
1 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon Accent
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1-2 can(s) golden mushroom soup.
Preheat oven to 350ºF .
In large bowl kneed spices into ground beef. Roll into teaspoon sized balls and place on baking sheet. Bake approximately 30 minutes until done. Drain off grease. In frying pan, slow cooker, or baking dish, top meatballs with mushrooms and your favorite home made (or store bought) beef gravy. Heat until warmed. Serve over prepared egg noodles.
