I just had to give a HUGE shout out to the Tumblr team for helping me back into this mess. I've missed you all dearly. <3

I'm happy to report that in these last 10+ years that I have popped in and out of the rp space, I've been fine tuning my debut series. While it is not ready for publishing just yet, soon, I wanted to give a heads up to any old friends here that I will have something for you planned. This blog 100000% is the reason and inspiration for everything I have written since the last time I logged on. I always caught myself wanting to change Tate's story completely and that just wasn't right.

So. A new prodigal son, completely separated from ahs/this character, bloomed. Although, you may find yourself questioning if the Devil himself infected this story as well.

I'm so excited to introduce you to our new golden child.

I just checked my messages and while a lot of you have deactivated- I've got my most precious flower's still messaging me to ask when I'll reply to our rp threads. Sorry I left you hanging for so long, but mama's been cookin.

Some of you have followed me IRL over the years & it only seems fitting to bring you along on this next journey as well.

As they ran through the halls he noticed eyes full of fear analyzing their every move. He had to throw them off. Swiftly, he pulled her forcefully to the janitor’s closet. An entrance to the roof seen above them.

“You’ve fucked it all,” Tate scolded the girl as he locked the door behind them. “I was almost finished. I could have gone home.” Home, Devil? You view death as an inviting home?

Noticing the way her eyes stood frigid, locked on his weapon, he lowered it once more. Knowing full well he couldn’t hurt the girl he released hot air from chapped lips. “Shit. Shit. Shit.”

“We’re all we have,” He repeated the statement in monotone.

“We had her. How could you let me fuck that up? You sent me away- I was gone. We had a chance to be normal. But I went and fucked it all.”

Devil’s eyes began to shed a tear as his drunken thoughts consumed him. “I still love her. I can’t take this place anymore.”

Flower always knew how stab his nerves. What could she possibly be holding behind her tongue?

With a scoff he threw his gaze away from her cold stare.  “It takes two, Violet. You can’t sit here and blame me for everything. Before I loved you? Yes. Of fucking course you can. After? No. Not anymore.”  A frown. “You seem to forget the most important part of our love story: I changed for you--”

Tate’s breathing became shallow as he sifted through the vocabulary of insults. Realizing harsh words would only scrape the surface, he decided to cut deeper. ”But nothing will ever be enough. You’d rather be alone than accept the fact that you can’t shake me--I can’t shake you. Although, now, I loathe the presence of you.”

He couldn’t muster the courage to say anything more. In fact, all he could do was sit in sorrow. She was finally speaking to him- yet all he could do was attack her with words.

He’s in pain.

“Why not?” Arguing will do no good here, Devil. “She gets to roam around-” Hiccup. “This house. Our house. Like she never did a damn thing wrong. It’s fucking disgusting.”

With a sigh he knew his twin’s words were true. Drinking yourself into a coma each nigh of your existence- dead or alive- couldn’t be a healthy coping mechanism. “I just don’t want to be here anymore.”

-- “She was my girlfriend.”

Gun in hand, loaded and ready, he debated on shooting the stranger. She was so fragile- one shot would be enough. As he lifted the gun to eye level he began speaking once more. “I don’t want to hurt you,” He repeated through pained eyes.

As she said his name the gun lowered. Something about the way she begged caused a twitch in his previous decisions.  Hearing sirens, black eyes widened.

“If you’re so brave then you wouldn’t mind coming with me,” Tate’s arm gripped hers as he began pacing down the hall. “You’ve really fucked things.”

Devil’s hands began to perspire as the girl continued her torture fest. He wanted nothing more than to teach her new ways to toy with the living. As she shot the teen in the head, his eyes closed. Memory.

“Teach this one a lesson,” He began as he stood up.  Walking closer to the living, he examined his eyes. Fear.

“I don’t think he realizes what choices he’s made- he killed his friend. What a shame.”

Tate smiled to Charlotte, nodding for her to continue.

“Fiona.” The name rang through his ears until they began to ring. This wasn’t going to be good. Devil’s got a plan up his striped sleeves.

Tate noticed the strength in her tone as she spoke. Fear?

“Welcome to my room,” The boy taunted as he stepped closer. He’d refused to let another female enter his space. Last time it didn’t end so well. This was his room. Always had been, always will be. “Why did you move here?” Curiosity burned into his voice.

“Stil might- what, Violet?”  His grin lit up the room. Flower’s petal’s seem wilted.

“I haven’t changed a bit. The only piece of me that could possibly appear off is how I speak with you. You broke my heart, Violet. There’s no more sweet words to give.”

With an ego filled tone he laughed in her presence. “You thought I loved you? No. You knew I did.”

You betrayed me.

“When have I ever been okay?” His voice slurred as he continued staring at the ground- unaware of how much time had passed. “I miss her too, you know. You’re not the only one who gets to wallow in self pity.”

-- “I swear you are the idiot of the group. Try telling Constance that. She’ll send over Billie Dean again to tell us how fucked up we are. I’ve grown tired of your silly imagination.”

Devil shot a glare to the female. “You know I’m dead,” Smartass. “What makes you think I know of anything that goes on outside of this home?”

He didn’t have time for silly mind games- he was too busy playing one of his own.

“Looks can be deceiving. Especially you- I figured you’d be falling head over heels for me by this point. Being in my basement, awe struck at the sight of me like a Manson groupie. Instead, you stand across from me, trying to one up my rap sheet.” 

Tate’s tone did turn to a joking one- only after he noticed the way she kept looking from side to side. “How bad did you fuck up?” He asked with a smirk.

-- Devil wouldn’t dare voice his appreciation for his other self. However, he let one nice phrase slip. 

“Thanks,” He muttered under booze scented breath. As the boy left he slowly began slumping over. The thought of his Flower walking in on him, in his current state, caused an unnerving guilt to fester in his mind. He’d normally drink by himself to avoid confrontation. The drinking was a problem.

-- “Which is worse?”  His eyes darted towards the house, then back behind them. “If we’re going in- we go through the basement. I’ll sleep there.”
