i have a headcanon that after jasper passed, david drew a picture of them together because jasper was his best friend and he planned on showing it to jasper when he "came back" and would tell the picture goodmorning and goodnight, since thats what they used to do every day in the tent they shared :(

Out on a distant plain lives a being that exudes mass hope. The trees surround the perimeter acting as the barrier to keep it in. Day in and day out the being builds mass forms out of clover and charges them with the fog that rolls in each day. You awake here while in a dream alive within a dreamscape, you two will finally meet. The being says your soul is not fully there it is half out of you. They decide to charge you with the fog and tell you about the dreams of this dimension, wild, solemn, and tenacious. You remain here for a period until you awake back in bed, your room pitch black with the smell of cinnamon hanging in the air. You get up and walk to your window, peering out you see cinnamon sticks tied in purple ribbon hanging from the latch. A thank you for visiting, holding it brings a fresh sense of hope.
