This place is a hidden jewel of the Halifax area. Tucked away on the Peggy’s Cove Road just a few minutes from Tantallon, this place is putting out not only tasty homemade baked goods but probably the best smoked meat this side of Montreal. The owners are a couple that lovingly combine the home cooking of Newfoundland and the best tastes of Quebec. French Newfie Fusion! I love the Newfie Poutine, traditional Newfoundland stuffing on top of crispy homemade fries, with real cheese curds smothered is tasty gravy. ehmmmmm! good! If you have a craving for Montreal Smoked Meat this place has to be your destination. The tasty morsels just melt in your mouth.
