The blond had tried his best to avoid getting bitten, but he failed and ended up getting a bite on his neck. A scowl appeared on his face as he felt the poison from the bug slowly overshadowing his blood. Kurapika did his best to reject it and remain himself, but resistance was futile.
The second his gaze latched onto the first individual he saw, his chained heart skipped a beat. Cheeks turning red, he placed a hand on his chest. There they were. The only one for him. Romantic affection was a foreign kind of love for him, but there was always a first time for everything. Slightly fixing his hair, he walked towards them. Using his attractive features for his own benefit, he placed a finger on his lip before flashing a bewitching smile. "I’m sorry for openly staring at you, but you are beautiful. It’s hard to take my eyes off you."
〘✽ — The city grew elusive with each passing day; now it served as a habit to a strange array of insects—latter of which held a substance that altered personality sets of those who came in contact with the pests. The Pegasus knight informed herself with the current pandemic and surprisingly she had managed to avoid the effect they gave citizens. The task required little work however as they posed little threat indoors, a strategy that had come to her upon their arrival. Yet she was curious, on how it would pan out—were the effects permanent? Had her friends fell victim to the venom? Questions that had crossed her mind that she was determined to seek answers to, even if it had meant endangering herself in the process.
The surrounding ambience louder than most nights; her eyes peered around the District, seeking anyone that beared familiarity to her. The search would prove ineffective however—a deep sigh passed her lips, turning on her heels she began for another area. An individual had halted her steps; a young man, presumably around her own age. His gaze was fixed on her, and his words had her at a loss. “… H-huh? You… wait what?”
